Today's Racing

Featured Replies

Obviously don't know how fit he is, but Le Reve looks a big price for the 1.50 at Cheltenham.

He's pretty consistent, he's gone well first time out and he's on a decent mark for a yard in decent form.

He does most of his racing on right handed tracks, which is a bit off-putting, but I'm still not convinced he should be available at 50/1.

Besides, if they're aiming him at Aintree in April he'll have to get used to going round the other way!

He'll probably roll up fat as fuck and then hack round for a circuit before calling it a day, but still...

I like For Good Measure in the 3.35 and can see William of Orange running a decent race in the 3.15 at Wetherby.

That was the only bit of the paragraph that made any sense in hindsight.

Cracking effort!

Shame he had to jump over fences

Shame some of the other horses had to jump over him!

Unlucky. Put a massive £1.87 ew on it!

What About Carlo is interesting making his hurdling debut in a Grade 2 in the first at Cheltenham. He won off 95 on the flat and you'd have to think the yard fancy he's half decent to pitch him in so high first time out. 33/1.

Curious one but can't look past Moon Racer at 2/1

Not Ballyandy?

I know there's a 4 pound pull but I always tend to favour the winner of the last duel

It was a duel, too.

I'd not like to call the match, I'd rather back one that'll keep out of it!

9/4 good price for a match

Aye, won well.

Thought What About Carlo travelled well aside from the ten yards either side of each flight.

They should try him on the flat.

Great reception and emotional send-off for Sprinter Sacre today.

Aye. But proper shit that Simonsig died in the race he led out.

Indeed, mate,

Really distressing and I felt a bit awkward collecting winnings from the race.

The winner, Fox Norton, came home with a nasty-looking gash to his leg too.

Tizzard didn't seem overly concerned, though. Looked a good performance that, all the more so with Coleman suggesting he'd be a better horse on better ground.

Only 8/1 now for Champion Chase from 20's this morning

Didn't know that. I was on Simonsig for my profit maximiser pick. Watched the race until it fell.

They'll need fucking snorkels at Haydock.

Some great old favourites knocking about there and at Ascot. Fancy Zarkandar against a first time out Yanworth and I thought Sire de Grugy ran well enough in the Old Roan not to be fifth in the betting today. Same applies to Silviniaco Conti at Haydock after a decent first run at Down Royal.

Think Vibrato Valtat is overpriced to beat God's Own and Dodging Bullets, and I like Caid du Berlais off top weight in the handicap hurdle at Haydock.

I just fucking love Cue Card.

ONE WOULD EXPECT/HOPE SO BASED ON THE MARKET, BUT WHY?

old favourite of mine out tomorrow at Thurles, Champagne Fever

Pretty poor, mate.

The runner-up was the best runner there, would have won with a bit more luck in running.
