March 23, 20179 yr On a management course next week, dress code is "smart business casual". WTF is that? I usually wear combat/cargo pants/shorts, t-shirt, fleece and adidas trainers for work. Only time I wear a suit is weddings, funeral, yearly trade NEC exhibition and court appearances. TIA
March 26, 20179 yr Where would one buy chinos anyway? Talibs shut ages ago... Last time I had a pair Joe Le Taxi was number 1.
March 26, 20179 yr It could depend on the industry. Ani works in finance I think, all pointy shoes, tight pants etc. Theatre (?) possibly a bit more casual. Bet C86 wishes he'd never asked

Bet C86 wishes he'd never asked Fair point. Although I am of a size where everything has a bit of 'give'. Jeans are total no no for us, the problem with jeans is that hard to have rule around how faded they can be and some arse always goes too casual. There are plenty of suit type trousers that are not chinos by the way. Anyone who saw Finchy yesterday after about 2 o'clock would have seen jeans that were not suitable.
March 26, 20179 yr Yeah, fair point - it's only full suit for board meetings and conference presentations these days!

March 29, 20179 yr Those nurses' whites? Yeah, it's not a good look for you. Students wear white. Nurses wear light blue. However - dark blue scrubs in critical care - sets my eyes off nicely.
March 29, 20179 yr Author Bastard Hope you brought yours for tomorrow The protocols weaken by the day It's at media city so I'm sorted for tomorrow. Was thinking DJ with cumberband.
March 29, 20179 yr Author Someone didn't understand the instruction. Very true, I've sent the course providers the URL to this thread for future reference.
