Wireless works well - never had any problems with it.

got an nvidia shield for christmas

 

in order to be up and running on christmas day I could do with pointers on the following:

• best app doings to install - is it plex, or something else? 
• who to contact for a subscription

Look on YouTube for guidance ...mobdro is decent but like any sports app can be temperamental when big games are on as is any free to view app. I'm paying for boom Vader & ipvanish vpn, works brilliantly on my shield for a total of about £15 a month.

There are others who are far more savvy than me, but am happy to help in anyway I can.

Thought I would try it for 7 quid a month as I can use a TV app rather than a dedicated box. Just watching the darts in crystal clear HD - cheers Horwich!

Use need a VPN Router which the TV would be connected too.

 

I have a Tomato router running alongside my Virgin Superhub.

 

I have cat 5 cables running from both hubs so I can switch when they sometimes hit the IPTV, got two wireless networks and use IP Vanish.

they got hacked 2 weeks ago, and it was a bit hit and miss for a few days before they could fully move over to new servers

i've binned off IPTV, too hit and miss, particularly live streaming - and it's not down to my box or internet speed

 

then the main server disappeared, but despite cancelling,have still got access to a test server, but it only has live streaming
