Paypal Advice

Really fuming about this and any help would be much appreciated!

Basically, I sold a brand new pair of adidas trainers back in March on Ebay, I sent the trainers recorded delivery, which were signed for and the buyer even left me positive feedback.

But back in May, I had a case opened up against me and this was the message from paypal:-

Dear

The sender of the payment outlined below has requested their financial institution to reverse (part, or all of) this payment. They've cited the following reason:

The buyer stated that they did not authorise this purchase.

Here are the case details:

  • Sender's name: craig beech
  • Sender's email: cloudnine4576@gmail.com
  • Payment date: 6 March 2018
  • Payment amount: £49.85 GBP

My paypal account was left with a negative balance plus a charge too, I provided paypal with the details of the recorded delivery tracking number and I have now received this message from paypal. FUMING!

Dear

As you know, we've been working with the buyer's credit card issuer to dispute the chargeback detailed below.

  • Buyer's name: craig beech
  • Buyer's email: cloudnine4576@gmail.com
  • Buyer's transaction ID: 4EP57229DA471214S
  • Your transaction ID: 7KJ93083507856609
  • Transaction date: 6 March 2018
  • Transaction amount: £49.85 GBP
  • Disputed amount: £49.85 GBP

The credit card issuer decided the chargeback in the buyer's favour as the buyer met their requirements.

We cannot dispute this transaction any further, but you can contact the buyer directly to try to reach a resolution.

Thank you for your patience. We appreciate your business.

Yours sincerely,

What if your dog's been nicked and swabbed?

Speak again by phone to both ebay and paypal. As seller you followed all the correct terms of the sale. Hope you still have receipt showing tracking.

I had similar situation and was refunded.

Make sure it's dog shit so they can't trace your DNA

Well of course, I wouldn't send my own. That would just be weird

If it is the same Craig Beech these are his details on Companies House.

He appears to be 41 years old (and thus could well have a son at University in Sheffield perhaps).

He is a Director along with Ruth Fay Paternoster (40 years old) who I guess is his Mrs.

The company has £200,000 of assets on its books at the last accounts.

Looking a bit further they both are Directors of Beech Land Developments Ltd.

Don't know if this is of any help?

Just an update, I did as Bigtoe advised, so many thanks to him and I phoned Ebay today and they were extremely helpful and the guy I sopke to said Paypal should refund you and don't take no for an answer!  He said, If paypal do start to play up, ask to speak to a manager and if that doesn't work, then the next step is trading standards, which Ebay kindly gave me the number for.

Anyway, the outcome is, my money has finally been re-imbursed by paypal, but what a palava! Paypal have really gone down in my estimation and just be careful, if any of you guys/girls sell anything on Ebay via paypal. (Make sure you send anything of value, by recorded/special delivery and keep the receipt in a safe place)

No, I told Beech that he had 24 hours to comply and he still hasn't, so please post dog shit, sperm, pubes whatever you want to him. Many thanks!

Yeah sorted now, couldn’t find the receipt for recorded delivery, but provided the tracking number via a message on eBay to the buyer, so still had it thank god, PayPal said as a goodwill gesture they would refund me, thanks paypal considering it was my money anyway!
