We made a cheeky sub in last minute and put him in nets and he saved 3 pens. Lovely bubbly Was an alcohol ban on yesterday at the gala field. Probably not a bad thing. Remember at De La Salis or whatever its called in Salford the other some fucker ended up with his nose bitten off in a massive brawl between a scouse and manc team Those stalls made an absolute fortune yesterday. It's a great set up with proper linos and refs. Next one is at Poolfoot on father's day. The bar will get some hammer that day! I moan about some of the games in winter, night games away at Lytham and stuff but christ I'll miss it all when it's gone. My eldest in his last season now 😢  Quote

Do they not have a development league or U18s or owt? It’s shit kids finish and then have to play every pisshead from the dog and duck if they want to carry on. I still don’t know what’s happening with my lad next season. He’s got something coming up, but will be playing in either EFL or National League Alliance next season which is great… but it’s basically an unpaid internship for two years. 🤞 for a better offer Quote

Beer and women normally fucks the upstep He could switch to Thornton who are definitely carrying on. Their men's team are doing pretty well apparently sure they're near national level now. When we played Barnsley in the play offs (3 years ago?) the lad had one with anticipated 2pm finish… it was baking hot. They opened up the side; it was like being on holiday. Ice cold beer, glorious sun and football… albeit U13s. Didn’t make it back for the match, stayed there and got toasted Quote

Great kid but a few health issues meant he couldn't make the team but the manager let him train with us. Same class as my lad at school. Had an epileptic fit at school today and died Fuckin awful.
