We had no team. Still couldn't pay a single fee. I'd say that's put us behind the rest. Having to completely rebuild with frees.

Evatt done well to grab those that are available early, but to expect that team to really hit the ground running and run away with things is way too much.

I hope you are wrong but apart from a few of the signings the rest seem a division below League 2 standard

Aye, just got to hope Evatt’s eye and the statisticians have got it right- build a team greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm still positive, and was enthused by IE, that's probably what attracted some of the new players. By doing so He's put himself up there to be shot at if things don't go so well, but we'll still need to be realistic.

My first season ticket for must be 15 years or longer (done 2 home matches since PL shit fan) so I am optimistic but we need to get up this season; hope we get a good start but at least be challenging before Xmas

That seems a bit harsh?  Most of the squad is proven at League 2 standard I would have thought.  I know there are a couple of exceptions but that would be the case with 90% of squads, signing 2 or 3 from a division below (as well as having plenty that are proven in the division above, as we have).

From what I have seen there has been quite a few from National League; I might be wrong. We just need to get playing competitively and after a few weeks we will know if he has got it right; I am behind the club no matter what the outcome is

I reckon we have nine players who could currently be considered proven at this level.
