May 7, 20215 yr Hopefully the announcement goes further than just which destinations you can visit likes of Spain will probably end up green in a month or two

May 7, 20215 yr You'll need to present proof of a negative PCR test to get back into the UK from an amber/red country too, that's the suggestion.

I can only see it descending into chaos if there are mini surges in holiday locations.

May 7, 20215 yr It’s a massive leap of faith for a family of four to go to Benidorm and risk a negative result. Insurance companies arent going to cover any extra expense. unless Schnapps is going to suggest people can still return but I’d be amazed.
May 7, 20215 yr Gibraltar, the Falklands. Lets go: Portugal including the Azores and Madeira Australia New Zealand Singapore Brunei Iceland Faroe Islands Gibraltar Falkland Islands Israel

SHows how fluid the situation is abroad and how valuable a good vaccine programme is. Yet still people were gloating about the EU's infighting and slow delivery. And now it's days out to Southport.

Looked at our favourite hotel in New yYork last night for September; decent prices, I’ll be keeping an eye on that as a possibility. Don’t fancy long waits in airports, mind, so happy to give travel to foreign parts until it’s easier. Then there’s th’Ashes…..

While our UK office has been locked down for over 12 months this week has just seen the introduction of compulsory masks in the Madrid office. Utter madness!! The regional variations over there are ridiculous
May 7, 20215 yr Think it might be late in the day now for the amber areas to have a normal summer, the fall out from failing to get on the green list pretty soon is going to be terrible for the holiday, airline and hotel industry.
