tomy taylor Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 local school derby, mawdesley C of E against Bretherton C of E, already scored 2 goals, but loosing 3-2, coming into the last 5 mins or so, on the left hand touchline, no one with me, so decided to let one rip with my left foot, right nto the top right hand corner, against the Preston under 11 keeper, belter, drew 3-3, thoroughly entertaining
Guest The Special One Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Ask Luton about mine. I can see it now, cup semi final and we were playing for a team called Berea Park(in S.A where Terry Paynes Supersport Utd now play pro)against Hellenic a team full of Greeks. The ball came flying over as I was stood on the edge of the 18 yard box, for some reason I just turned and volleyed it into the top corner screaming keeper at the same time. Luton never stood a chance as it nearly took his head off to become the seasons best own goal. I think we lost too. I must say though, I have scored a few crackers from the edge of the box, including some top class penalties.
Guest Egan Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Scoring a goal from the half way line with about 5 mins left drawing 1-1 clinched the winner with a flukey goal that dipped into the top left hand corner of the net after kicking it from the half way line...the team went crazy and so did my mum after the match.
Guest The Special One Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 You mention halfway line. Played in a cup final and in the last minute we were 1-0 up so our full back did a back pass from the halfway line to waste time, you guessed it, he lobbed the keeper. We went on to lose after extra time. Needless to say he was dropped after that.

brixton Posted December 5, 2004 Posted December 5, 2004 Scored a cracker playing for my works team against the Manchester branch the other week. Beat two defenders and curled the ball into the bottom right hand corner from the edge of the area. Didn`t stop celebrating for a good 5 mins.

Zozzy Posted December 8, 2004 Posted December 8, 2004 Best goal I ever scored was in the semi-final of the cup Bolton Boys Fed Under 16s, I think it was called the jubilee cup. A shot from the edge of the box in the top right hand corner, it was the last goal of the game which we won 2-1. What also made it special was that it was against Lads Club who had just won the league and we finished runners-up. It was on their own pitch down Hacken Lane Darcy Lever. We played the final on Walkers, Great Lever............Happy days O:)
