  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

Also, this fella from Reform is making everyone with a northern accent have to battle again that we aren't as thick as pig shit.

Awful.

Only saw the first 30 mins. Tbf he wasn’t as bad as I thought he would be, but yes, a rabbit in the headlights. You could argue that political parties should have a duty of care for their candidates - can’t be great for the guy to be publicly humiliated like this (assuming he’s self aware). He may be a good plumber and a good laugh down the pub, but not MP material, with all the responsibilities which come with that. (He’s not the only one btw).

Its not just that, its the whole patronising 'red wall seats' as though the north all thinks the same. Its a total Southern projection.

But this myth that Burnham will be a better speaker - he will follow the same policies. Also, he was a member of the cabinet - he's not an outsider looking in. He went and sulked up North and its served him well.

But it will not serve this country well. We need consistency, not a charmer in a t shirt who likes the Smiths.

Yes I agree with you, there’s been a lot worse on QT over the years, his life has taken a massive turn over the last few months.

He came across as a bloke who genuinely wants to do something to improve the area. But with no real understanding of the job of an MP, answers like ‘that is up to the home secretary’ just showed the gulf. He has just been elected as a Councillor and could be a good one if he avoids the party politics.

Burnham announcing the PM challenge was strange almost as though he decided on the spot to come clean. The issue he will have if he gets in will be the economy. The City like Reeves , but assuming she goes who else is there ?

It won’t happen but for me the best solution would be for KS to stand aside, Streeting to drop his challenge, Burnham as PM , Streeting as Health, Rayner back in and Starmer as Foreign Secretary. Darren Jones as Chancellor. Would he keep the Home Secretary? Immigration down and small boats down.

My tin hat theory is that Farage et al have something really bad to reveal/chuck at Burnham, maybe around grooming gangs, so getting him in and then disgracing him will be the master blow.

Exactly the reason I never watch his show.

The reality is those voting restore will probably hinder Reforms chances, they should have been allowed/invited on the show

Becoming more and more convinced that Reform would be happy to come second. Get rid of the beige self interested wanker and see the reds move further to the left.

Didn’t watch BBCQT but apparently, Burnham said that Streeting has started a leadership contest. When did that happen?

He was a bit more subtle/typical politician than that, actual quote below, basically referring to Streetings behaviour rather than actions in actuallly launching a campaign

I think Wes Streeting seems to have launched a leadership contest, so if that is running I would seek to join it, but I'd have to persuade members of the Parliamentary Labour Party to do the same."
