  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

  • Anyone who thinks Starmer covered up for grooming gangs because he in some way thinks it’s ok, is off their fucking box. Hes a dull as shit, methodical legal cunt. Unfortunately, to get justice p

I appreciate what you’re saying, and yes, if laws are not applied without fear or favour then that’s a big problem which needs to be rectified.

What I find frustrating is the highlighting of crimes just because of someone’s skin colour, religion or other defining characteristic. Crime is crime, and people from any and all walks of life commit it.

An old cliched image, but serves the purpose. This is how I hope I view a line up of criminals. Or good people I’d want to have as neighbours. Or anybody for that matter. Equal.

All men though! 😁

That’s why I said when the weather is warm. Kids will probably get 2-3 weeks of swimming time with our summers. What would make more sense, PCSOs or police patrolling areas where kids have been dying or having them walk around town centres? Some police forces have already adopted a similar approach and carry out increased patrols in hot spots when the weather is warm. There’s no way this option would be more expensive then having emergency responses and specialist teams out for days

Well it would.

Police are too stretched. I'd rather they patrol town centres and areas of crime.

Which lakes are you proposing they attend?

My local mill pond has seen children drown in years gone by. Expand that across the region, then chuck in reservoirs, which themselves are large and would take a good while to patrol.

How many officers are you deploying to undertake it, and at what frequency?

Be lucky to see an officer once a week.

Simply too few, as with PCSOs, so without employing new people it would simply be impossible, irrespective of whatever time period they are used over.

There are also legal factors to consider- for the most part swimming is by permission of the land owner, and is a civil matter.

Impossible? Thames valley police already do it along with Cheshire police. So I’m not sure why you think it would be impossible. No one is saying every stretch of water is to be patrolled just ones that clearly attract a large amount of Kids and a high probability of drowning, I’m guessing your local mill pond doesn’t fall into that category like Dozens of ponds Lodges and canals near me don’t. As for frequency how about when it’s hot and during the day, you know when kids are likely to go swimming.

Mark Fellows, David Taylor and Lee Newell murdered Kyle Bevan at HMP Wakefield

the varley bloke did get sent to Wakefield

watched a podcast about the trial, wasn't pleasent, apparently the foster parents had reservations about him being adopted by them two but never got the opportunity to stand up in court to say what they were

saw some of his police interview and it was just basically "no idea" or "no comment" throughout

started watching the judge going over their crimes and sentences, had to turn it off, just so fucking grim
