I was gobsmacked to learn that this is the first time EE has been booked in a game that wasn't against Lincoln (2 games, 2 yellows)
-
Never seen a team do a prematch huddle on the centre spot, which is where the ref usually is pre-kick off.

its a little like saying teh cardiff-licoln game could have played without linesmen, as it would have been the same for both sides. But not the other 22 teams in the division. As far as size is concerned, all the clubs are under the same rules, have GLT at one ground, but not at others means not all matches have the same rules applied. Adn that, quite correctly, is not allowed.

Memory may be playing tricks on me, but I think Walker got off the mark away at Exeter.

Sky pay to broadcast scheduled midweek games for x amount. ( a total of y games). If a game originally scheduled for the weekend is postponed and then played in midweek, they have not paid to broadcast that game, and have no rights to broadcast it. They can't simply just then show it, without getting their arses sued.

Isnt a midweek game (originally scheduled for weekend).

What a shit goal we just scored, lumped it in, big mon with the header. Almost felt embarressed to celebrate.

He's also 19th in games started, just behind Jussi.

Milner is 13th in minutes played, just behind Sylvain Distin, who has 200 games less. https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask?q=premier+league+most+all-time+minutes+played

I think (and hope) that @gonzo meant the foul by Haaland, as playing advantage was the correct decision. At that point its either going to be a goal, or a red, and the second foul decided which.
-
You think he should just ignore a blatant foul by Haaland, and then give him an advantage ? An that then there would be no repurcussions ? Are we really at the point where people are suggesting that officials should ignore the laws of the game sometimes because it is only for a trivial thing such as a goal counting or not ? The common sense he shosed was that once the foul was highlighted to him (don't forget he initially gave the goal) was to properly disallow the goal, and then show the Liverpool player the red card. I think people forget that its a sport, with rules, rather than entertainment.

Really enjoyed the game for a change. Nice to see the older style running & defense type matchup rather than a air dual that has become the norm recently. Halftime show I thought was exceptional, despite not understanding a single part of it. Found out this morning the wedding that haapened in the middle was legit.

But if the ball goes in, there is no denying the opportunity. Hence why it was fine to play advantage upto the point that Haaland pulls the liverpool player back, preventing hom clearing it. it wasnt, as Bolty claims, six of one and half a dozen of t'other, it was two seperate incidents. Once the second happened (preventing teh clearance, they have y=to go back and action teh first (DGSO) and give the red). As I say, unseemly, but correct.
-
Out of curiosity, which red card offence would you have sent hom off for ?
-
The only way the goal stands is it they now start giving advantage to the player commiting a foul. If Haaland doesnt pull the liverpool player back, the ball doesnt go in, and its a red. If the ball went in, without Haaland pulling him back, its a goal and no red. Its unseemly, but its the only, and the correct, decision.

Its a fairytale story for those plucky Welsh underdogs.

Cissoko didnt go to Plymouth until 6 months after SS left.

Why would the Brentford Player be in either Palaces or Macclesfields match day squad ?

And on that bombshell, I realise its time to stop reading this forum until people have calmed down.
