  1. Nailed on Mounts. My biggest frustration is that we actually don't have such a bad team. We have a better squad now than we have had for most of our Premiership years (in my opinion) but it's all too negative, too edgy and getting us nowhere. His interview on Sky Sports on Saturday was embarrasing, made me cringe and he needs to stop feeling sorry for himself and become positive. His words will only disappoint the fans.
  2. Serious lack of passion at all levels. Management and players today. Megson seems to talk a good game but doesn't have a clue tactically. Taylor on the right is wasted. Forgot he was playing in the second half. Samuel isn't playing well enough, play Gardner there with Taylor in front.
  3. Makes much more sense now. Can't be as good as the Reebok tour
  4. Bit of a dig there from Ebi? Instead of giving his position...just...'I don't know what I'm doing!!'
  5. All I know is Nando's is at the Printworks in Manchester. Definately not one at Middlebrook. There is a Greggs though
  6. I admit I'm not a fan of Riga myself but he gives balance to the team. Given a run of 4 or 5 games he might suprise a few people who knows
  7. Yes - for the bench. To throw him into a difficult role up front alone against Man utd and Blackburn was a big ask of him. I think Davies needs to be starting there for the foreseeable future to give us some punch up front
  8. Good point well made Carlos, replace Squad with Team. I have tried to name players who I hope are available for the game tomorrow. I listed Riga so we can have a balanced midfield as best as possible to give the team some shape
  9. As long as when Newcastle come to town we don't sing his original song
  10. Jussi Steinsson Cahill O'Brien/Russian Bloke Samuel Basham Riga Muamba Taylor Gardner Davies This squad alone is STILL good enough to be in this division in my opinion. It's better than Stoke's, WBAs, Hull's, Boro, Sunderland for starters. We MUST get behind the team, hopefully we will get a couple of additions aswell. Back to basics - Davies up top. Two wingers with pace and a solid backbone. 3 points tomorrow can turn the mood and give us a good chance of being here next season with a lot of hope. COME ON YOU WHITES!!!
  11. Is it a coincidence that Basham has come in and played in midfield and done ok? Think he will be the anchor man with Muamba in the Nolan role.
  12. Dont think it is just me but I feel really disappointed with the club. Nolan leaving who has always spoken so positively about the club even through tough times. He has taken no time at all to sign a 4.5year deal at Newcastle. Allardyce being up the road at the inbreds with Diouf ready to join A possibility that the bid for Nolan was accepted without Megson's knowledge. Fans slagging everything off ALL the time. We really need to stick together and hope we can get a GOOD influential player to come into the club over the next day or so. Fingers crossed the club isn't in trouble
  13. Not happy if I'm honest. Good luck Mr Nolan, a change might be the best thing for him...we will miss him around the club
  14. Don't see why Reebok would want their name pulled away from the stadium. Most big companies across the world want to have involvement in the Premier League
  15. Hope Davies doesn't get booked for another fantastic tackle on Clichy.
  16. He has been better than last season. Much better. He is a leader, since taking the responsibility of captain we have acheived more than we have under others. When he went off yesterday all we did was lump the ball into the sky and head it around. He is a talker, an organiser and I'm a fan. He has been in the team nearly 10 years, and has been pivital in our success.
  17. Confirms he's a tosser IMO... Neglected BWFC for months while he concentrated on getting the England job Left BWFC for 'time out' Appointed Newcastle boss pretty soon after that Took all our staff when he said he wouldn't Keeps his fat motoring mouth warmed up between jobs after being sacked Appointed Inbred boss
  18. Ricketts, Ferdinand, Beardsley..there are 3 to start with
  19. He's not a quitter though you know. He's not a quitter
  20. Spot on Zico. Why change the way we play at the moment? Why replace Mccann with a different type of player. We are playing well, looking good going forward and seem to have a good balance. It might only seem that way because we are on good form but it is working. I think Davies should stay in the frame. He isn't playing as well as he has in the past but he has set himself high standards and opposing players are still terrified of him.
  21. It's not directed at Mccann directly I think, some fickle fans just want to see attacking players throughout the midfield so they want to see Gardner and Riga in every week and want us to concede goals as well as score maybe one or two more.
  22. His first touch with his left foot was brilliant, took the sting out of the pace of the pass and set him up nicely. Quality goal
  23. I was responding to another quote of someone blaming Carson. I simply said it wasn't his fault, Terry was to blame. I know we won, I saw the game....and we played VERY VERY well and I was impressed. Downing was the star man for me aswell, I thought the pace throughout the side was excellent last night.
  24. Was Terry's fault before Carson's. Blame should be pointed at 'Captain Fantastic' before Carson.
