To be fair he had to travel to Norway twice, then had to quarantine when he finally got in and then got an unspecified injury.

Loan Watch 2021/22
Ronan Darcy started for Sogndal for the first time yesterday in their 1- 1 home draw before being substituted just after the hour. After two 45 minute appearances he’s gradually getting up to full fitness. Ali Crawford played 60 minutes in St Johnstones. 3 - 1 defeat of Dundee.

Senior to Ashton Utd on a 28 day loan.

Loan Watch 2021/22
Darcy came on at half time again today for Sogndal. They were already 1-0 down away to Asane in their League 1 game and that remained the final score. Presumably he's still needs to get fully fit before he can play the whole game.

Loan Watch 2021/22
In non-league Luke Hutchinson played in Colls 1-1- draw at Stafford. Jay Fitzmartin scored his debut goal for Stalybridge in their 5-2 defeat of FC United. Matt Alexander's Lancaster came from behind twice to beat Ashton Utd 3-2. Not sign of Reiss Greenidge in Barnet's first win of the season, but newly signed ex-trotter Rob Hall was on the bench for Barnet and came on in the 75th minute with the score at 1-1 to help Barnet run out 3-1 winners.

Dennis Politic was in the Port Vale squad but didn't get on the pitch. Port Vale are on a good run so He's going to struggle to break into the side. Ronan Darcy came on at half time in Sogndal's 0-0 draw. Whilst midweek goal scorer Allie Crawford's side St Johnstone play at Hibs tomorrow.

Wonderful. Well done Tim and Rhys.

The Owners
Good. QuickQuid was a particular low for our club (I know it wasn't a gambling firm).

Le Fondre
We'll both be in the Championship next year, albeit they have moved up to Cat 1 Academy level this year I think. Presume we get some compo.

Rotherham (H)
Lots of over reaction to our loss on Twitter. This is the summary in The Football League Paper. Spot on in my view. Two divisions separated these clubs last season. That gap is down to just two places and one point as Rotherham deployed previous Championship nous to do a number on the Trotters. It was a lesson individually and collectively for Wanderers. They conceded from two setplays and missed a host of chances at the other end. Chief threat Dapo Afolayan was increasingly marked and fouled out of the game. But there was plenty to suggest Bolton can bounce back.

Same old No game time for Politic sat on Vale's bench. No sign of Darcy in Sogndal's squad or Greenidge at Barnet. Not sure what Darcy and Politic are learning other than how other teams train. Ali Crawford was on the bench for St Johnstone and got 30 minutes in their win at Aberdeen. Fitzmartin was on the bench at Stalybridge and got 30 minutes in their defeat at Gainsborough. Matt Alexander conceded 4 in 10 man Lancaster's FA Cup defeat at Morpeth. No sign of Luke Hutchinson in Colls FA Cup squad, in fact I think I saw him warming up at the Reebok before yesterday's game. Perhaps we didn't want him cup tied. Colls scored late to progress.

Derby
EFL Statement. Nothing about additional deductions....yet With confirmation from Derby County Football Club that they have filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators, the EFL can tonight confirm that the Club will be subject to an insolvency event under the terms of the EFL’s Regulations. As a result, the Club faces a 12-point deduction. Once the EFL has received formal notification of the application, the deduction will be applied.

Being suggested that if they go into Admin before the -9 is applied, it won't count.

Loan Watch 2021/22
A number of non-league matches tonight but again no sign of the lesser spotted Greenidge. No game time for Luke Hutchinson but he was on the bench for both our U23s and Colls today. Hopefully Luke will be back in the Colls side this weekend. Matt Alexander played in Lancaster's draw at Morpeth. Big success of the night was Jay Fitzmartin who on his 19th birthday provided all 3 assists in Stalybridge's 3-0 win at Scarborough. Wonder if he had a party hat ready behind the goal.

Rotherham (H)
Lincoln mate just texted me. Rotherham a big physical side who closed them down and should have won by 3 or 4 tonight. Should be an interesting game Saturday.

Rotherham United can confirm that Saturday’s trip to face Bolton Wanderers is now an ALL TICKET fixture. The Millers travel to the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, with away supporters now unable to purchase tickets on the day of the game. The Football Club have also had correspondence from Wanderers that their will be no extra tickets, should the initial allocation of 1,881 tickets sell-out. Current ticket sales stand at 1,120*, so we would like to advise supporters wishing to attend Saturday’s fixture to purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out *Ticket sales are accurate as of 15:30pm on 14/09/2021*

Transfer Gossip
Article about him in the Business section of The Sunday Times yesterday. He's making millions through his fashion business. Says numerous managers including finally ours (Parky?) told him it was football or fashion. Still only 29. Started out in mens fashion but says women buy more clothes and are "experimental" so makes all his money there.

Crawford been talking to the local paper in Scotland about his mental nightmare here. His Misses is doing the same over Twitter as well. Claims he was the fall guy last year in the poor run at the start of the season. https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/football/st-johnstone/2525078/ali-crawford-st-johnstone-midfielder-turned-to-mindset-coach-as-bolton-nightmare-unfolded/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

Loan Watch 2021/22
Non League and more no-shows. Still no sign of Reiss Greenidge at Barnet and Luke Hutchinson is still out. Lancaster lost 1-0 with Matt Alexander in goal, whilst Jay Fitzmartin started for Stalybridge but they continued their winless run and he was substituted after 66 minutes.

Loan Watch 2021/22
League update first Again no game time for Politic as Port Vale won at Swindon. He was on the bench so presumably reasonably fit, but unless he gets some time on the pitch he's never going to get match fit. Slightly worrying, and given that IE has said that we aren't improving his contract offer, you wonder what the future holds for him. He'll always be a favourite here for his efforts in 19/20, but at the moment we are moving on as club without him. Time yet I suppose. Ronan Darcy has agreed his contract but agin no game time at Sogndal yet. They play this afternoon but he's not in the match day squad. Ali Crawford played 85 mins for St Johnstone against Rangers yesterday. Former White Michael O'Halloran put St Johnstoe 1-0 up but Gets came back to win 2-1. O'Halloran seems to have been round a long time but is still only 30. 33 goals in 267 games isn't a great return for a forward though.
