Senior has been playing at right back for Ashton. Wonder if that’s where Evatt sees him long term. Doesn’t look big enough at the moment to be a central defender.

Dennis Politic played for Vale today so is cup tied should he come back and we progress. He was subbed at half time with the score at 1-1 as Vale made a formation change (they won 5-1). Ali Crawford played for 67 minutes in St Johnstone's 0-0 draw. Crawford and St Johnstone want to extend his stay beyond January. Ronan Darcy started for Sogndal but was substituted on 77 minutes in their 3-1 loss which looks to have ended their play off hopes.

Got mine online at lunchtime today. ESL was half sold. NSL looked less than 15% and WSL was about 25% sold. Didn't look 5k sold. We'll see. Hopefully a late rush.

Others will know better, but I think we no longer need or have settled the loans provided by Lucock and Sharon to the business when FV bought it which were covered by charges against various bits of the business. There is still a charge against the hotel in favour of Prescott Business Parks which presumably is Michael James. Also on Companies House today is a posting by FV to reduce share capital and a separate solvency statement (usually a statement by the Directors that the company can pay all its debts within 12 months). The docs are not yet up yet on the site though. I think this is good news - but stand to be corrected!

Hasn't got on the pitch in their last 3 games and remember Sogndal are playing in the Norwegian 2nd division. I like Darcy, but don't think he's going to be the answer to our problems this season.

Currently losing at home to Barnet. Man sent off and a Reiss Greenidge scoring Barnet's 2nd goal.

No issue with his loan, he's still not played 90 minutes in a league game and he wouldn't be getting much (any) game time here. The issue is the stalemate over a new contract. Once he's fully fit get him back in January and let's go from there. But he will have competition from new signings I hope.

Non league round up first Adam Senior missed a penalty but scored again for Ashton Utd in their 1-0 away win at Bamber Bridge. Reiss Greenidge got on the pitch for the first time this season for Barnet in the 63 minute. They were already 0-3 down, the final score. Luke Hutchinson played in Colls 1-0 defeat to Gainsborough. Matt Alexander was on the bench in Lancaster's home defeat to Matlock. Jay Fitzmartin is still out injured. Sure I read somewhere defender Ryan Colvin had gone out on loan this week, but can't find any mention of it.

He's obviously still not fully fit 15 games into the season.. Played 63 minutes today. Too early for him to come back January's fine.

We made a woeful start and were shell shocked 1st half. I feared the worst. I was more encouraged 2nd half. I thought we were much better but scoring goals remains issue. Sarce should have buried his chance and Kachunga should have shot instead of passing when through on goal. One of those go in and we were back in it. Last goal was farcical and caused by the weather, nothing else. Ref would never have started the game in those conditions but was determined to finish it. We need to get our best 11 fit and rebuild from there. Jones looks out for weeks so right back remains an issue. Don't see many credible options beyond Brocky. John has been in and out with injuries or illness all season, not sure what is going on with him. But when he's fit he plays ahead of Gordon. I still fancy us this season.

Jay Fitzmartin was carried off non a stretcher after 10 minute for Stalybridge. Hopefully nothing too serious. Ali Crawford didn't play today. He's out for 3 weeks with a groin injury. Reports that PNE owner Trevor Hemmings has died this evening. He has put in around £10m in over the last 12 months to keep them afloat. Potential problems ahead unless he has set up a foundation to fund them.
