Came away disappointed today but not because of the performance of the lads. They worked hard today and must have been gutted not to get anything from the game. Thought the sending off was harsh and it gave Gerrard more freedom that he hadn't had in the first half. Better performances from Knight and Sean Davies and thought Cohen had a very good game. Why would it not be true? Fair point it does celebrate his defeat. It was a couple of old guys I spoke to and I guess they were from a generation who remembered the occupation and just thought the shirt could be considered to be in bad taste.

Used to have one of those tshirts years ago. Wore it on holiday to Guernsey which was probably not the best idea. Was politely told by some locals that it would be a good idea not to wear it again!
