Bolton V Everton 25/10/09
MOM - Ricketts, some great delivery and crosses Great effort for chasing that crossfield ball that everyone thought was going out and he kept it in right at the corner flag. Cracking game, great goals and up to 12th in the league. A good days work.

Favourite Song Lyrics
Tell all the people who believe what they read in the press tell all the folk who stare from behind suburban walls the enemy is not some nation far across the sea the enemy is with us every single breathing day. So yes,i will fight for my country the land that i love so well yes - for justice a land fit for all our futures yes,i will fight for my country the land that i love so well hear the voices of our history echo all around. Fight all the ones who divide us rich against poor fight all the ones who divide us white against black fight all the powers who want their missiles in our earth fight all the people who would lead us into war. And yes,i will fight for my country... No rights were ever given to us by the grace of god no rights were ever given by some United Nations clause no rights were ever given by some nice guy at the top our rights - they were bought by all the blood and all the tears of all our grandmothers, grandfathers before. For all the folk who gave their lives for us for all the folk who spit out - never say die for all the fires burning on our highest hills for all the people spinning tales tonight fight all the powers who abuse our common laws fight all the powers who think they only owe themselves. And yes,i will fight for my country...

Very good program. Moving and inspiring. Pair of very brave lads.- Liverpool Game Thread
QUOTE (whiteboy @ Aug 29 2009, 09:54 PM) said on the commentary their reserve keepers dad died during the week Didn't know that so no disrespect meant.- Liverpool Game Thread
Came away disappointed today but not because of the performance of the lads. They worked hard today and must have been gutted not to get anything from the game. Thought the sending off was harsh and it gave Gerrard more freedom that he hadn't had in the first half. Better performances from Knight and Sean Davies and thought Cohen had a very good game. It annoys me that players as talented as Torres and Gerrard have to resort to diving and in Gerrards case whinging to the ref about almost everything.Just get on with the game soft lads. Asked some scouse lads on the train what the black armbands were for and even they didn't know. Maybe they wore them because it was a Saturday!!- Forget Mg&nb's Stuff, This Is ...............
Good choices- Thursday Joke

Officially became a British citizen this morning.- I Will Be Mostly Wearing On Holiday
Why would it not be true? Fair point it does celebrate his defeat. It was a couple of old guys I spoke to and I guess they were from a generation who remembered the occupation and just thought the shirt could be considered to be in bad taste.- I Will Be Mostly Wearing On Holiday
Used to have one of those tshirts years ago. Wore it on holiday to Guernsey which was probably not the best idea. Was politely told by some locals that it would be a good idea not to wear it again!- Pictures That Stay With You

Definitely. Browny probably deserves a good reception but thats where the sentiment ends. Then we get on with the business of getting 3 points. - I've Just Spunked Up
