  1. Someone should show this to Wenger, Benitez, and that gobshite Souness. CHRIS COLEMAN has defended Wanderers' style of play and praised his counterpart Sam Allardyce just a day before his Fulham side travel up to the Reebok Stadium. The former Wales international went against the trend by claiming that Wanderers are 'now on the map' courtesy of Allardyce's stewardship. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez recently joined the list of Premiership managers, which include Graeme Souness and Jose Mourinho, to slate Wanderers' tactics. But Coleman, whose outfit will be looking for a maximum in Lancashire to boost their survival hopes, has nothing but praise for his Wanderers counterpart. He said: "Look at where Sam has put Bolton - they're on the map now. I feel sorry for him. He's done a great job but because it's Sam Allardyce and Bolton he gets a bit of stick for the way they play. "But what do people want? He hasn't got the club into top six by spending ??30million on his squad. He's done it the hard way. People in this country like you to do well, but not too well. "Bolton play a certain style of football, but they don't just lump it. They're not like Wimbledon 15 years ago. They play in a certain style in defence and when they're in the opposition's half they change it around. "They have talented guys like Jay Jay Okocha, Ivan Campo and Gary Speed. They put the ball in certain areas where they think it will do the most damage, but when they get the chance to play they do that."

It wouldn't be as centre half I don't think. Reckon it would be in the Hierro / Campo role.

Last time I went to Amsterdam, I kipped in a spare parking space next to the Lada that 5 of us had lived in for 3 weeks round Europe. I wouldn't recommend it.
  4. Eh? What's up with you?
  5. The old chestnut I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy
  6. So you're family are scouse / irish catholics, yet you are "wanderers top prod" and are apolitical with an Ulster flag as your piccie? Aye - crystal clear.
  7. What's with the red hand gang flag then? its the flag of ulster How's that not political then? I'm dead confused now.
  8. Apparently he's carrying a flag to hand to the Juventus supporters tonight. I can just see him now. "The thing is Guiseppe, I'm giving you this here flag, I'm doing your job for you. You could come a pick it up yourself, why should I give it to you? What you going to do for me?"
  9. What's with the red hand gang flag then?
  10. There you go then - that's left me looking like a dick then. #-o
  11. No - post what you want - I'm just saying personally, Scottish football is a load of bollox, means absolutely feck all to me and if it wasn't for the sectarian malarky would you really give a shite? Are you Irish, Scottish or Dutch? If not , why the interest?

Used to be Bill's on Eskrick Street - years back. When I moved to Bradford I couldn't believe the state of the chippy's. First one I went in we asked for chips and gravy and he put the chips in a tray and the gravy in a plastic cup. What's that about - did he think I was going to drink the gravy or something? Stick it on the chips man.
  13. I don't understand this Rangers or Celtic shite. I have no interest in Scottish football - its sub standrad bollox. In fact I only care about Bolton. If we went tits up, that would be me and football done. Carlos - Interstate 5 - good lad.
  14. (emits long whooshing noise, whilst scratching his head) - Its going to cost you. ??425
  15. Benitez spent all his time before the game moaning about foul throws. Same thing this - wonder if he moans now?

  17. Bloke interviewing him about Heysel Observer Sports Monthly mag. Phil Neal Then: Liverpool captain, 34 Now: Merseyside Radio commentator I'd rather forget that night. It was an ordeal. But, Jamie, why should I help you out? I'm helping you pay your mortgage [by talking to you about Heysel]. When people ask me for my view, they usually have to pay for it. You're asking for my help for nothing. To pay your mortgage, Jamie. I mean, what do you want from me? I just thought that as the captain of Liverpool football club on that night at Heysel it would be good to hear your view? Yes but what do you want from me? If I talk to you for a few minutes, then I'm helping you pay your mortgage and what am I getting in return? Do you know what I mean? Well, I have been to Italy and talked with some of the families of the victims and they say that the trophy should be given back by Juventus to commemorate what happened. About Juventus? Why are you asking me? Why are you asking someone on the Liverpool side? Juventus made amends very soon. Ask them ... Jamie I'm helping you pay your mortgage. People who want my views pay. I'm sorry, but everyone else I have spoken to has ... Great. So you've spoken to people, you've got your views. You've got your Liverpool view, but if you want mine for free, well people pay for them.
  18. do you think the irish republic will have a minutes silence at sporting events there............................... Probably not but its a different thing altogether. If the Irish president croaked tomorrow, we wouldn't have a minutes silence for that either.
