Coyle Signings - Early Press Speculation
Zozzy replied to jonathan's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
Whenever I see the name Beckford it reminds me of that Patterson back pass, and I get a sickly feeling in my stomach. I can't remember ever feeling so 'low' as a Bolton fan for weeks after a match than that quarter-final. -
Nicky Hunt played for England at Under 21 Level and Kevin Nolan turned out alright

Caught Watchin Mucky Movies On T'internet

I recently discovered that my mum performed in porn films. I don't know what disgusted me more, knowing that she was in it, or carrying on wanking after I had recognised her. -
Thats right and Roberto Mancini's step up from Inter Milan to the Massive

Coyle Signings - Early Press Speculation

1. I don't know enough about Wilshire to comment 2. The comments about Muamba's stats must have been tongue in cheek. There are better passers of the ball playing Sunday league football. 3. I agree with the poster that said a centre half is our main priority not a more attacking midfielder, especially as we have Sean Davies back for next season who I rate highly. 4. That Eagles looks like a raving queer 5. The comment about Mark Davies being rubbish.............. i beg to differ -
I agree with Didledee. He would be the ideal partner for Cahill

I got a digibox off mi dad because I had a blank black screen on the telly for about a month leading up to christmas. My dad told me that the bloke on the Car Boot that he bought it off told him it was a 'Top of the Range' (Sagem Picnic). I didn't miss the telly to be honest because we watched Corrie on ITVPlayer, but I had already renewed the TV License for ?142 so I might as well have the box. Since the box was plugged in we have watched The Queens Speech, and I watched Match of the day when we played Burnley to check that the box was still working ok. I also watched skysportsnews for the first time ever while not being in a pub (the day Gaz got sacked). One of mi mum's prezzies to us was a TV guide for the christmas period We got our son a HTC Hero

I got all 3 but one of my choices was disqualified because he was too old and not famous enough so I had to pick my first reserve who was called winner but turned out to be a loser :-(

Forest Green or Accrington Away because I have watched Bolton play at all the others

We are a "blown up Championship Club" , but thanks to Gartside's decisions and the people surrounding him we find ourselves in the top flight, and have been there for more consecutive years than we could have imagined. As for Owen Coyle making the wrong decision in coming, I disagree with that because he will be welcomed with open arms by the fans, who can now hopefully unite behind him. He will also be given a bigger transfer/wage budget than ever. Your first point about Sky slating the fans, can you blame them for that? We have been embarrassingly poor as 'Supporters'
-
I've just seen the skysports news pictures showing the fan with the banner singing 'Megson Out'I notice he had a ManU scarf on. It wasn't you was it isaac ? Maybe it would be better if Bolton Wanderers got relegated to the lower divisions were we belong. We are a Premiership team, but with supporters of Division 2 class .

Megson had is faults its plain to see, but Bolton fans (not every one) in general have been disrespectful and very poor "supporters" from the day Gaz walked in. We would have more points and I believe already be more safe from relegation already but for our Shite fans. Gary Megson didn't help himself, in fact you could call him a PR disaster, bet lets be honest it wasn't made easy for him. Sometimes I am ashamed to be a Bolton fan. zoz x

We ordered our christmas turkey a couple of months ago from the local farm, and left a deposit. The farmer's wife said that most people picked them up on christmas eve. I decided it would be ok to collect it on tuesday afternoon, but when I turned up she said that it was still alive I have just been back to the farm shop. There are quite a few people picking up their turkey, everybody's box is numbered and has their name on it. They are all accounted for. But mine isn't there. They have checked them all and can't find it

There is no way that City will win by six goals. City not to win at all is more likely. If you want a bet on a team winning by six goals or more get your wedge on Tottenham

I have come to the conclusion that Coronation Street is just one continuous advert for Alcohol consumption. "Had a hard day in the Cabin?" ...Norris "Yes give us a double Rum" "It's cold outside Dierdrie, I'll have a large Brandy" "Do you fancy fish and chips Emily? "I'll have a triple vodka instead" "My dog has got a sniffling cold" ... "Here have a white wine and Soda"
-
hughsey you can come back with us no problem well no probs except I don't know you and you don't know me. so we just have to find each other

I thought Sean Davies was a good buy, I rate him but I like young Mark Davies even more. Deffo a top player for the future imo.Wasn't there another Davies we were after (at Reading?). I am sure we could buy a good team of Davies's if we tried hard enough.

More Megson stuff that ended up in the wrong thread!
Zozzy replied to DR WHITES's topic in Terrace Talk - 'Classics'
I agree with the gist of this, mainly that Gaz is a PR Disaster. Unfortunately what the Public perceives is often more important than the substance behind it.A classic example of this is one of Bolton's all time favorites Ivan Campo. He said all the right things at the right time pandering to the fans, especially when his contract was up for renewal. He was the same on the pitch even when his best days were behind him played to the crowd. But at the end of the day when his services were no longer required he caused trouble for the management, and the Club as a whole. He deliberately divided the dressing room with his actions which very nearly cost BWFC it's Premier League status. He didn't give a shit about Bolton Wanderers at this time and was more concerned about his own selfish needs. Campo has always maintained a good relationship with the fans. His PR skills are exemplary. If Megson had a dose of Campo's Public Image he would have done himself no harm. Give the bugger a black curly wig and a jar of false tan. -
I am driving down to Fulham in the morning in the Car not the Minibus, due to a few regulars going by train and stopping overnight. Only 3 of us travelling so if 2 more want to share petrol, you are welcome. I know it is a little bit short notice I will check on here until we set off 9am approx. Alternatively a lot of people on here know my mobile number zoz x ps I am a good driver

We are playing Fulham at the wrong time, they are on form. But I don't think we will go down unless our Club is de-stabilised in some way (e.g. bringing in a new manager at this critical time)

What Are Your Guilty Music Secrets?
Zozzy replied to Spider's topic in Behind The Stands - 'Classics'
My guilty music secret is When I was at Primary School during a lesson the teacher said "Stand up if you like The Bay City Rollers" . I quickly stood up as I had been listening to Bye Bye Baby and Shangalang recently. When I looked round almost every girl in the class had stood up, but not one other Boy was on his feet In my defence I was only 10 yrs old at the time. -
Good luck with the Op. Have a speedy recovery Sam I think it was Leicester we played
