Oh Bugger!
Hopefully this wil give kev the boost to his confidence that he needs and will get people off his back. Off the bottom and up the prem we go. Come on the whites

Oh Bugger!
Sounds like there is hope for the 2nd half then. Come on the whites!

Oh Bugger!
the BBC coverage is quality: Foul by George McCartney (West Ham) on Danny Guthrie (Bolton). Free kick crossed right-footed by Danny Guthrie (Bolton) from right channel, save (caught) by Jussi Jaaskelainen (Bolton). Sounds like a good gameon the net. Is anyone actually watching it? Should I be hopeful of a comeback?

Zoltan Gera
Maybe we have quality and depth. But the depth is of low quality. If that makes sense.

Zoltan Gera
According to the News of the World Megson is lining up a January move for Zoltan Gera for ?750,000. Any thoughts? Apart from it being in the NOTW! Is he the kind of player to help us climb the Prem or more likely to be able to get us back in it?

Good Review Of Bw
Seems that although Dioufy couldnt score a Premiership Goal in a month of Sundays he sure creates his fair share of chances for the others - shame only Nic can finish them off.

Toon V Pompey
Looks like FSA is not very popular today up at Tyneside http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=8...toid=2116249576

The Newcastle goal sounds worth a watch Charles N'Zogbia's shot is saved by David James but Michael Owen is onto the rebound and though James gets a hand to it, he can only direct it onto Sol Campbell's head and the ball dribbles into the net for an own goal.

Diouf
If it is the Arsenal game then you remembered correctly. It was the FA cup. I think it was only about 20 minutes into the match if I remember correctly? Who else has he been sent off against? Why cant the bloke just keep his mouth shut? If BWFC/Allardyce were trying to stop him playing for his country then I would not blame him. No-one should be stopped from playing for their country. But wait a bit longer than 20 minutes and keep it to yourself.

Joey Obrien
I fear you may be correct but hope it can be the match that kick starts our season. Lets hope Wengers dislike of BWFC is further re-enforced next weekend.

Diouf
Reported on Sky Sports Bolton's El-Hadji Diouf has sensationally admitted to intentionally getting himself sent off in order to play for Senegal. The former Liverpool forward, who is less than popular away from The Reebok as it is, has been dismissed three times in the last five years. Diouf's loyalty has often been criticised in his homeland, but the 26-year-old claims he sometimes goes out of his way to ensure his availability. To add to the confusion surrounding the former African Player of the Year he has now been called up by his country just days after announcing his retirement. "I have got myself sent off while playing for my clubs, in order that I could go off to play for the Senegal national side," he told the News of the World. "I have refused lots of chances to play for my clubs so that I could answer my international call-ups and play in the African Cup of Nations." Why cant he keep his mouth shut? According to the (reliable) News of the World the matches were Liverpool Vs Chelsea at Stamford Bridge when he got sent off with 3 minutes to go and the Bolton Vs Arsenal Match with the Lehmann incident. Also one whilst he was at Lens. I wonder how Sammy will deal with this one?

Barber To Toon
1. he is going back on an arrangement that he had with gartside. 2. For 8 years he piped on about how when he left Bolton he wanted to leave the foundations for future success but now seems intent on destroying what he did here

Nolan Speaks Out
This is the feeling I get from football clubs overall, not just BWFC. Indeed BWFC have done more than a lot of other clubs recently for the fans, long may this continue.
-
Nolan Speaks Out
I have already said earlier on this thread that I misunderstood what Nolan was saying. Maybe they will open a ticket office there soon. OK Schoolboy error. I just think that for the fans to still be the heart and SOUL of the club there must be a good relationship between the club and the fans. To me this has broke down in recent years e.g. the Carling Cup Final Fiasco. The fans are becoming more and more detatcahed from the club. Even if the number of fans attending matches continued to decline there will still be the Sky TV money. The club are more bothered about income from Sky TV than the fans.

Nolan Speaks Out
And the supporters own what? The heart and sole of the club! I think the club has lost much of its heart and soul. Dont think this is me having a go at BWFC. I think football, especially at the top level, has lost much of its heart and soul. In fact I think we still probably have more than most clubs in that the club is owned by a local lad and lifelong supporter.

Braga Tkt Prices
Only problem I have with night matches is the cold and the rush to get there from work. Other than that doesnt really bother me

Who Is The Bigger Tosspot?
Always had a bit of a soft spot for the red half of Merseyside. Dont know why, think it must be a joint hatred of UTD thing

Nolan Speaks Out
So which part does Eddie Davies Own?
-
Nolan Speaks Out
My heart wants to agree with you but my head cant. BWFC is a business these days and that business is owned and run by ED.
