  1. I assume you mean me Went down to ticket office at lunch today and was told they couldn't sell tickets today. What the f**k??? Him:'It's to keep City fans out of our stands' Me: 'And what about Bolton fans? Look, here's my season ticket...I'm a Bolton fan' Him: ' sorry, mate. Police orders' F**king pigs! Our support will be even worse than usual!
  2. I notice it's only the ones who don't go who get so angry when I say this. You just can't face the truth, that you are now too lazy/dispassionate to really support your team. Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just telling the truth
  3. I live in a flat with my mate and we go 50/50 on bills. I also have to run a car for work which costs a bit. But I still make it to every game, because I actually am passionate But feel free to laugh at the real fans freezing their arses off while you watch the matches from the pub
  4. It's a question of prioritising. If you'd rather spend money on going out or shopping or whatever then you aren't passionate, you're just a supporter. I earn less than most on here (I assume, due to my age) but I still get to all the games because I prioritise
  5. Because if they were that 'passionate' they'd be at the match
  6. I always thought being a fan was about supporting your club through anything.... Bolton could appoint Satan himself as manager and end up in the Conference but I'd still go. I wasn't there in Division 4 (due to my age) but I'm sure some of the older fans will agree that success, ambition and playing staff are all insignificant when it comes to supporting the team
  7. No, I'm moaning because we had no goalscorer for the last ten minutes
  8. I despair of the kind of fans we used to attract, if after a few months of bad games we've lost 6-8 thousand fans
  9. I see where you're coming from, but we needed a goal not crosses from the wing (we had plenty of those anyway) he totally removed our goalscoring ability. At least Stelios knows where the goal is
  10. Taking him off wasn't the issue....why replace him with a left back and not another striker/forward? I know he pushed Ricardo forwards but he's hardly likely to score the winner
  11. Indeed it is! I'll be there and I expect doctor's notes from those not attending!
  12. But Seville were the best team in the group....Braga were shit and we still have the 2 hardest games (both away) to come
  13. God, our fans are shit aren't they?
  14. It's a fair question. I haven't seen one poppy so far, not for sale/donation anyway.
  15. I'll support the team til I die, just not the chairman/manager who are ruining it
  16. All my friends daft enough to go ARE season ticket holders.... Does that count?
  17. Gel? Like I'd put gel near my precious locks!
  18. Please, please tell me you're joking???
  19. Half the people on here would miss every home game of the season just to have a holiday and watch us play in a foreign country. So I bet they'd be thrilled if we played in Yankland
  20. You call youself a f**king fan?? People like you and SamHater are the reason our attendances are so pathetic
  21. I'll be there, as ever I honestly think City might outnumber us
  22. Christ you part-timers don't half get defensive I was just curious as to why our support is so shit, and now I know...because people are very good at thinking up excuses but not so good at supporting the team Ta for clearing that one up
  23. Attending home games would be a good start
  24. Of course they went, they're real fans
