  1. thats as good as a draw if not a win for me, we did ourselves proud
  2. I've lost some of the respect I had for cappelo. I can't understand why he hasn't got a call up apart from his age?? top leadin goal scorer at this time of the season deserves a go
  3. It was more of a novelty for us than anything, they had just beaten sydney the week before so apparently there was a big crowd on to watch that game. The mid-strength stuff is crap ur right. It was alot better than being at anfield that day though
  4. so he's abit of a pillock then. Well its a good job the game finished 1-0 so i didn't witness a goal! The sheds still good fun though, even though some of the songs are abit shite. Just nice to stand up for a change!
  5. Yes Dave's a great bloke, we stayed with him over Christmas in Rossmoyne. My old man went to school with him and they've been best mates all their lives. I didn't realise so many pople called Andrew 'undies'. Andy's been a white all of his life despite only going to a handfull of matches including the Villa semi final at the Old Wembley. You will have to post the photo if you can get hold of it. We've just sent him a load of wanderers gear to put in the back of his cars. This brings me on to a story . In Macedeonia last year in the centre of Skpoje, 3 blokes walked past the London Pub where all the wanderers fans had set up camp ,one of which was wearing a Perth Glory polo shirt. Being in the middle of Skopje you can appreciate seeing a Perth Glory shirt isn't an everyday occurance. So we got speaking to him and it turned out he was from perth but his Mother and Father are Macedonian, so we took down his details and said we would meet up with him in 16 months time when we were back in perth and also gave him Dave's info. We didn't hear from him in a long time, but Dave eventually got an email back. We met up with him at a pub with Dave and Undies before Perth Glory v Adelaide Utd! We went for a few beers at half time in the members bar and it turned out there are quite a few Macedonians living in Perth. It was very strange meeting this bloke in Skopje and then meeting up again with him in on the other side of the world. small world n all that!
  6. 1. Yes it may it may be where they just have there offices, do the youth team/ reserves still play there? 2. I'm not sure if they are official known as the western australian whites, as i mentioned in the post above theres a bloke named Dave Hodson who has organised one or two get togethers recently in the perth area. He's not a halliwell lad, think he's from heaton. 3. I meant to say West Coast Eagles just shocked to see this conversation on wways so i thought i would attempt to join in on what little i know. 4. As for the MU comment I was informed they are mainly prawn butty fans.
  7. I believe so, they got into tye match day programme a few months back after sending in a picture. The main contact over there is called Dave Hodson and he lives in the canning district of perth.
  8. Fremantle dockers are a great team, was in fremantle over christmas and you can even park on their old stadium. I've heard that they are the working mans team, we visited friends over there who are members of the Western Australian Whites and they said that the sea eagles are the Man United of Aussie Rules.
  9. We have only got chelsea away left out of the big four, we also have villa but thats at home and I would fancy ourselves to get a draw. I might be getting very carried away but a similar finish to the season like last year and we could get back in Europe! After all we are playing teams like Sunderland, Fulham and Wigan who are not too far infront of us. Lets hope 2 teams in the champs league meet in the f.a cup final and the place goes to 7th in the league. However this would mean wanting utd to win the carling cup final
  10. thanks for the link, yeah i'm quite familiar with the history of it but I was concerned it might be packed and you would be rushed through the whole experience. Heard many good things about the heneiken factory tour, should be a good weekend hopefully they will have the WBA game on tv over there.
  11. I'm off to Amsterdam next month for a lads weekend away, although I wouldn't mind going to see the house. Is it expensive to go round it?
  12. There is nothing wrong with waving a flag ffs. The stadium looked great today, and people will remember it.
  13. The flags looked good, it all adds to the match day experience. Complaining about flags should be the least of your worries. The football isn't exactly attractive is it, you need something that grabs hold of the youth at an early age. Although we will remember the game for losing in the 89th minute, alot of the younger fans will remember how good the stadium looked when the teams walked out, and hopefully they will want to keep on coming.
  14. I didn't expect many sensible replies to be honest. Hopefully i'll wish i'd of gone the game come 5.45! come on you white men
  15. where is everyone going to watch the game? If you're not going to the actual game where is good place to watch it?
  16. i'm on the train but i'll be going from donny
  17. Alot of people wont be happy with shite ale so a stand for that seperate would be great. Super bock in cans for the rest of us ..Would be great to put a fountain in there to destroy
  18. he was in the marks n spencers cafe last week doin his shoppin so he hasnt moved anywhere
  19. its a lot of money, but on the off chance and i mean off chance we go and get something there ?41 wont seem so much. i'll be there
  20. are you trying to say lofty isn't a real lion??
  21. dont forget your free pint that came in the booklet you got with your season ticket, only valid for tomorow. might as well use it even if the beer is piss, just thought i'd give you all the heads up
