  1. do the prices change according to the match itself? say would it be cheaper if we played a league 2 team in the carling cup on a tuesday night?
  2. they also said he could even end up at city, either way he wont be far off
  3. If prices are that cheap for kids who's to say that they won't buy a cheap season ticket but only go to the more attractive games, i think some of these seats will end up empty anyway as it will only be wasting ?2.50 if they don't wish to attend
  4. a lot of people wouldn't want to pay ?39 to watch a match at the reebok on a cold rainy day when they can watch it in a warm pub, save money and have a few pints in the process. This seems to be the mentality of a lot of bolton fans these days.. its not like theres any atmosphere any more, sure theres a singing corner under the screen but theres no proper section like behind the goals. I went watching sheff utd v cardiff this year just to kill an evening (not that i like either of them) and sat behind the goals and all the singers were in one place creating a decent atmosphere. Thats the one thing the reebok is lacking. The stand names at the reebok should be called the embankment, lever end, manny road and the burnden paddock so people could move to relatively the same parts of the ground. When we moved every body got spread all over the show dilluting the atmosphere. I'll still be reniewing though its still bwfc!
  5. If this website can get a singing stand i'm sure it could get the old badge back, the club will love all the new money they would get from shirt sales etc..
  6. They had scaffolding on it yesterday i think they're just changing the design and the bulbs, don't worry its not being re-named
  7. I wouldn't say they were the best but after being 2-0 down at west brom in the play-offs coming back to 2-2 at our end of the ground was up there. Also the 1-0 game at rovers last year was one of the best we've had in a while, seeing them miss 2 penalties and the campo header infront of our lot, dont think they will be selling tickets that cheap to us again. They couldnt even get the score board correct
  8. So bringing flags to the chelsea game isn't a possibility because....
  9. sorry this was meant for the reebok review, i'm new to posting on this thing.. i seem to of angered the regulars
  10. as we probably won't be using our flags in europe for a very long time, if you have one why don't you take it to chelsea. If you are sat on the top tier there are plenty of places to hang them like the liverpool fans did in the CL semis. Think it would look good on sky if they showed are end.
  11. stupid question, I doubt even a third of utd fans even know its St.Georges day
  12. A season in europe isn't exactly cheap to fund, we were still in the uefa cup only last month and peoples summer holidays are coming up, so its not suprising we only get away fans when its free travel. Also its a chance for the younger people (inlcusing chavs) to travel to games that they could usually never afford and support their team.
  13. not quite
  14. i'm at uni in sheffield and the derby wasn't half as bad as i thought it would of been, high levels of policing and every bar in town either closed or being heavily guarded by bouncers probably played its part.
