  1. Some doctor woman on the other say. Said there was no way she'd hug her mum at this time. Bit grim, and not a ringing endorsement of bubbles. Ah well..
  2. Won't be allowed on the train... Unless you go into the cattle trucks.
  3. I think you're missing my point. Pre puberty treatment isn't going to change bone structure from masculine to feminine or vice versa; if something so powerful was used then what other effects would it have on bones all over the body? Hormone treatments only go so far and won't completely change things. Start routine pre puberty treatments are you're on a massively slippery slope. What happens if the child reaches 15 or 16 say and realises it was a phase and part of the growing up process? Do they sue the authorities for allowing it to happen? For the small numbers genuinely affected it must be a shitter; perhaps groups like CAMHS etc may be able to help with this more. An adult has to go through a period of living as a member of the opposite sex prior to treatment, and maybe a 'light' version of this might be appropriate. Full scale conversion at such a young age is fraught with risk; and would be highly inappropriate, especially if they haven't had the opportunity to go through puberty and sexual discovery and achieve confirmation of their feelings.
  4. A shitter, condolences. Did they not test her upon admission- I thought that was routine?
  5. He is, but usually adds a bit of colour to proceedings. Last night was something else though. I wonder if he deliberately walks into pubs and lights up?
  6. Only dropped one place. Not that bad. Still in striking distance: a couple more wins could make a real difference. I note that scunthorpe had a stonking away victory, which could indicate the improvements we've made. As Traf points out, still need more goals though.
  7. To be perfectly honest, I'm somewhat torn. It's not the sitting in the stand thats the issue, more the potential presence of pre pissed pillocks failing to follow guidance on concourses and piss stones. Would be a right bastard to have avoided it until right at the end when a vaccine is in sight.
  8. " Don't drive into barriers". There, I've given him one 'tip'.
  9. A scar is still a scar, irrespective of when it happens. Bone structure not going to change is it? Earlier intervention would be tantamount to the worst kind of child abuse. Despite my relative's thoughts, at an age of 8 or 9 there's no way he was capable of knowing what he would feel like once into puberty and beyond. Once down the road there's no way back. I think Kent is right generally. Something, somewhere changes in a very small number of people, but for the rest you're male or female. A bit like mental health issues; there's a danger this sort of thing becomes 'fashionable' and detracts from those with genuine need.
  10. I heard a couple of bits of screeching in the hoc last evening. Des Swayne of particular note. Usually got time for him and his style, but by the fuck was he complaining about the suggestion that anti vaccine turnips could be refused entry to an ale House etc. Liberties bla bla bla. Maybe he could start a movement whereby pillocks can walk about with their cocks out. The vaccine minister had suggested that pubs might choose to refuse entry as its their choice who they allow in. I'm no expert on such legal matters, but as establishments and businesses have a duty to protect employees and customers, I would have thought that its perfectly reasonable for them to refuse entry.
  11. Labour have continually said that financial support hasn't been good enough. For some reason chose last night to make a point. Had the vote not gone through, then we'd have been in a state of no restrictions. At least temporarily. In response to that, maybe they'd have gone down the civil contingencies act route or similar. That would have been cat among the pigeons time.
  12. Certain parallels. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if in a quiet room, medical bods came up with the idea so as to get them done with it, prior to winter, and away from older members of the family. Not sure they'll admit it though. If in some small way it helps get the grounds open again then all is well.
  13. Quite. Just a ruling today or yesterday whereby there will be age restrictions on when medical procedures (medicine) can start. Been ruled that at a young age, kids aren't mature enough to understand the sheer complexity and problems with undertaking such a life changing event. Quite right too; too many would potentially end up going all the way when just being curious/experimenting. Some sympathy for folk like my family member, but knowing what he had to go through even before having treatment to be sure I reckon pre adulthood is too early.
  14. Not quite. Still have to go in with identity proof and to sign documents once registered online. Two forms needed for him, and somefor me too. All these money launderers init.
  15. Will remember that. Cheers. Was in trying to sort a new account out for the lad. Waste of time.
  16. Eye opening isn't it! The win percentage of Hamilton is around ⅓. Incredible.
  17. Depends upon what you define as gender though. Can't completely re-model the body clearly but a hell of a lot can be modified through surgery and medication. The person in my family was always an odd lad. Very odd. When he eventually managed to 'come out he said he'd felt he should be a girl from primary school age. That's a hell of a weight to carry with you, and a hell of a brave thing to admit and to address. Potential to spiral down a worm hole of legal opinion though, as we are seeing now with some groups with differing views; lgbtq lot against feminists. A right pickle.
  18. Here you are: https://www.driverdb.com/drivers/max-verstappen/ Swap the name for Lewis and the difference is stark. Still time for Max, but I'm not sure he's quite in the same league. The odd race, a few laps, and in qualifying he can do amazing things; just not seeing the consistency. For want of a better description, like putting a football freestyler into a professional team.
  19. As I've said before, I have a family member who went the other way, from he to a she. An odd looking lady, but if she's more comfortable, so be it. No idea what her snatch looks like and don't intend to find out.
  20. Just had a look at a database and compared Verstappen with Hamilton. Obviously Max has a special driver to compete against, but so did Hamilton early in his career. When you look at their stats, they're miles apart, moreso than I expected when you look at the early stages of their careers.
  21. Just wait until you're on holiday somewhere exclusive, taking a piss and in walks Elliott and unfurls a 12 inch mamba whilst stood next to you. Straight back to the gp for another inspection.
  22. Students go to uni. Fuck off rules and catch it. Spread it like buggery and have done with it, largely away from older folk. Secret social management.
  23. Tremendous. Another one from the wonderful world of satan.
  24. Haha. To use a local phrase; " there's nowt so queer as folk".
