  1. Should be man marking Marriott if he's on form Can't believe how much space theyre giving him and then he almost got a second, so still not learnt from that mistake.
  2. As an ex Live Sports Producer and Director, it's very frustrating watching the live TV coverage of Bolton games and this season my wife has learned a few new swear words. I directed all the home games at the Reebok when we were in the Premier League with six cameras. These were for live coverage around the world and UK match of the day highlights in the UK. Watching the matches this season is like watching a media student with a new toy, using cameras and replays just because they are available. Showing countess shots of managers, crowd, pigeons etc when the commentators are describing someone running down the wing is a true sign of an untrained director or a person who doesn't understand the game. Maybe used to working on a slower sport or none at all. Having worked at six World Cups as Senior Broadcast where the Director has over 30 cameras to choose from, I dread to think what they would do then. Sometimes less is best. Use the bench shots sparingly on game delays, substitutions, cards being issued etc but not during a free flowing action. Don't start me on the ads. One last thing. At the end of the match, endless pointless stats and full match replays should come after players walking off the field, other results then most importantly the updated League Table as everyone wants to know where that leaves us in the league positions. Sitting through all the other garbage first is tedious. Apart from a few sensible adjustments needed, it's still great to watch us every week.

    Osei fing tutu useless
  4. noxid replied to burnden's topic in Terrace Talk
Osei Tutu is NOT a defender and they know it. He can't get the ball to Apter and is a liability in defence. The game seems too kick and rush for us. Need Sheehan to slow it down and get plenty of fouls and some yellows from the dumb ref. Think we need to sacrifice a winger for a midfielder as we are being overun in the centre of the park

Forino out by who's account? He's been a rock since back in the side and if this dodgy rumour is true it's a worry as we don't have much height at the back

So three months of this player is worth £500,000?
  7. noxid replied to Ratwhite's topic in Terrace Talk
He would still send all his throw-ins backwards which is his first option and an annoying bad habit especially when we are passed the hall way line
  8. A class goal that in any league
  9. They are already targeting our right full back Osei tutu who scares me to death as a defender. Already made one error that could have been a goal
  10. noxid replied to Ratwhite's topic in Terrace Talk
So another Evatt player has been sent packing. That's about 15 at least out the door since SS took over. How many remain now besides Sheehan, Toal, Osei Tutu, Dempsey, Mcatee and Johnstone?
  11. noxid replied to gonzo's topic in Terrace Talk
Said first half about his dodgy short passes. Now it's cost him an injury. Apart from that we are a shambles.
  12. noxid replied to gonzo's topic in Terrace Talk
Being out muscled by this lot. Can Conway ever make a forward throw in. Every single time it goes backwards even when deep in the opposition half. Ultimately it ends up all the way back with our keeper.

We can't get worse at the moment
  14. noxid replied to gonzo's topic in Terrace Talk
Started poorly. Osei tutu scares me to death in his own half. Keeper taking too many risks with his short passes. Just not settled yet
  15. noxid replied to gonzo's topic in Terrace Talk
Forrester out probably due to 'gentleman's agreement' especially if he's back for the next match
  16. noxid replied to Ani's topic in Terrace Talk
Has Dalby touched the ball yet?
  17. noxid replied to Ratwhite's topic in Terrace Talk
Lots of shit stirring and talking down the club on here at the moment. You lot and whoever the f...ing goblin is, need to get a life and calm down. Maybe take the wife out for lunch if she's not already left you for the fitness instructor. You must have nothing better to do. Unless it's true!

Sick of the discussion about goalkeepers. We need about 3-4 new players to inject some life into this tired looking team, which for some reason that nobody seems to know why or how, is on a fast downward spiral.
  19. Worst performance in five years against a terrible team. Taylor absolutely shocking. He shouldn't be giving a start ever again. There's no confidence, team moral or chemistry. It's all gone away since mid December. Dread to think what's happening in training sessions. Manager must have lost the dressing room as there's no spark whatsoever.
  20. noxid replied to Ratwhite's topic in Terrace Talk
We're all getting sidetracked here talking about goalkeepers We need a proven goalscorer, a fox in box. Otherwise mid table again. Maybe a full back to replace Cogley, bastard midfielder and dominant centre half that organises the defense properly.
  21. No much of a fighting spirit in here but lots of throwing the towel in
  22. The last five minutes sums up life in this league. Shocking refs, missed easy chances and terrible defending
  23. Peterborough won't be waisting any time today as they will be trying to improve their goal difference
  24. Haul Johnstone off who's having a shocker and get Forino on!
  25. Moral seems really low. We really need a spark but hard to see where it will come from. It only takes one goal but things have definitely gone downhill the last month
