I cannot imagine we would have such a policy - nor is it likely someone at the club would divulge one way or t`other.

I reckon Mavies has looked decent this season - then he ought to at third tier level with his ability. He will be missed and we are desperately short of numbers. As the embargo was imposed due to our financial state I would have hoped losing "Bell in the ball" Amos would have given us some scope but seemingly not? How many more squad players have to get crocked before the embargo is relaxed. Can we now play the kids against Everton tomorrow without incurring a fine?
  3. I am happy with the appointment - there again I thought Lennon was a fantastic coup. It will be interesting to see how how NL fairs at Hibs now he is not hamstrung financially. More importantly lets see how PP sorts out the shite he has inherited. I feel more optimistic than I have for months - Get behind him and the team - right now I would take a mid table finish.
  4. Sobered up a bit - Lancs won hurrah! - bit calmer but still of the same opinion not impressed if Giggs got the gig. For what its worth it aint happening .......
  5. Giggs - no experience, shagged his sister in law aside from his Utd connections - FFS get a grip - gonna watch Lancs v Yorks and calm down.

  7. Twas the week before Xmas. I had been on my Xmas do and was absolutely leathered watched the game game on Sky jumping around like a maniac.
  8. The Venkys have dropped some almighty bollocks but this one could top the lot......hopefully!
  9. BM looks like the bloke who collects tickets at Salford Central Railway station
  10. Me too - nearly had a tear in my eye.....
  11. If you are a socialist it is basically a lose lose situation. Vote in and you are supporting a Capitalist institution. Vote out and the chances are Cameron will be ousted to be replaced by a more extreme Right wing leader. I reckon we would have been better off not becoming part of the EU in the first place but we are too far down the line now to withdraw without financial strife.
  12. Millwall fans - well some of them are fuckin animals. Speaking of animals the only two positives from what has been an awful season are Tranmere failing to reach the National League playoff and Utd finishing outside the top four - hurrah!

    Jussi

Jussi wasnt great during his last couple of seasons here and wanted a better contract than was on offer so he left. Sad at the time but justifyable. Seems to have had a new lease of life down the road - past his sell by date now but still performed better than "can we have a bell in the ball please" Amos. Cannot imagine he will be back as a player but very possibly down the line as Goalkeeping coach.
  16. Report on Sky Sports News suggested there would be no impact on promotion/relegation to Premiership and as there are already 20 teams there is no need to meddle. However I agree the self interest displayed by the "big clubs" is loathesome but if we were in that position I would be similiarly smug.
  17. Parkinson not a bad shout - infact any fucker other than Redfearn
  18. Better for fans for example my missus doesnt attend Tuesday night games but shite for the clubs including Wanderers who generally need every penny to survive.
  19. I do hope the "ever reliable" Daily Star has got it wrong - surely not.........so not too distressed yet but I hate Redrearn with a passion as I cannot forgive the twat for dancing almost the length of the pitch in front of the Burnden Paddock blowing kisses to the crowd whilst celebrating the Doncaster goal that consigned Wanderers to the play off and ultimate relegation to Div 4 in 1987. We had given him his league debut FFS
  20. The Bookies have to retain interest throughout the summer. How they can dream up realistic odds when squads have not yet been assembled beats me.
  21. Winning at Wrexham but more importantly hearing Scunthorpe had won at Torquay.
