From my morning paper the stats from Saturday were Fouls by Chelski 18 Fouls by Bolton 11. Does this suggest Bolton are the big physical bully boys that people suggest. Corners by Chelsea 9 Corners for Bolton 2 - This would suggest that it was Chelsea who had more chances from set plays it's just they didn't score from them. Possession Chelsea 56% Bolton 44% - Against the top team in the divsion not many teams will go to Stamford bridge and have that much possession all season. And if we are long ball merchants how can we still have 44%. Bolton may be a big side but the main reasons we are in the top half are discipline and team work. We don't play a rigid formation but a 4-5-1 that quickly changes to 4-3-3 when we are in possession. The opposing managers and press are playing straight in to Sams hands by slagging us off.
