  4. usually about 4-6 weeks depending on how bad it is well thats how long proffesional football players are out but thats with the best medical care so you should be ok in about 6 months ( no just joking mate ) but the time does depend on how bad you've done it i got one playing football a good few years ago it went in a short time but just seem to niggle for a good few weeks after was only playing sunday morning footy so it was'nt really tested but still uncomfortable

  14. was gonna av a quite one but me mate who works in a brewery as just give me 24 cans of becks from his monthly freebies he gets so i'll just av to dig into them (i dont know the things you do for friendship)then out to preston tommorrow to watch game then join a few mates for 1 of their kids head wetting he's glaswegian so it might get a bit messy then! if not arrested sunday day of recovery with just the odd tipple watchin footy then hopefully by 6oclock manchester will be in mourning allthough after wenger's comments not sure about this then monday off to golf course at duxbury and create a few more bunkers for em, and my missus moans i'm never in the cheek of it

  16. once and many moons ago been out drinking all night including night club was living in darwen at me dads split up with me misses was the reason any way blagged me dad to borrow his car (was on a promise back in blackburn ) so drove through hoddlesden on back roads thought there would'nt be as many police around in that area ,luckily i was right it was the most stupid thing i've ever done i know i could have killed someone or even myself even remember hitting a couple of kerbs on the bends i tell ya that dont half make you concentrate
  17. dont know about real ale but last time i was over there found a pub called fridays bar pint of fosters and a pint of strongbow came to ?2.60 for both and im not talkin 10 years ago it was in march dont know if it was a promotional thing for paddy's day or not some of their customers look a bit dodgy but you get what you pay for . one of the customers got talkin to my son and asked him if he would like anybody stabbing (no shit honest)needless to say my son declined .the pub was on a corner of a street in piccadilly gardens across from what looked like a sports bar dont know if anybody else knows the place
  18. dont know about the score could be anything as anything can happen on the day thats the beauty of football thats why we keep payin our hard earned money and keep goin ( apart from hughmungus now but thats his decision and only time will tell if its the right one )just thought of a song dont know if its all ready been thought of sing when you're looting you only sing when you're looting you know how the rest goes .anyway here's to a good game and dont forget its a top of the league clash ( lets savour it while we can )

  24. how do you define middle age from what age do they start and when do they finish . iknow what you mean about the different things you used to do and the things you do now i've just taken up golf i'm nearly 49 so how many more middle age years have i got left .i only took up golf because i had to stop playin football 2 years ago (dont half miss it )
