  1. Still in need! Anybody got one Ipy ticket to sell? Meet you at the ground for cash,or will PayPal it to you. Rob.
  2. Well, just found out I’m working in Ipswich tomorrow! Could sneak out early, & I’m less than 1/2 a mile from the ground, & only 100 yards from the Black Horse Can’t buy on the day, so anyone over bought, & happy to sell it on to me? Rob
  3. Gents/Gentesses, as a member of BWST I got sent this email: Although I'm no fan of the current BWST 'management', I Obvs. did want to help. However I'm 100 miles south in the Midlands, so can't pop over with groceries... I wasn't sure they would allow delivery to an addy not associated with my card, but Tesco's (other retailers are available) have just accepted an online order from me, to be delivered on Monday, direct to the Stadium, & directed to the 'staff'. I've used the suggestions in the BWST email re the items I've ordered, & not gone with my usual Foie Gras, lobster & unicorn powders. For those too far away to help in person, maybe have a look at this option, if you can. If any of you can think of other ways we can help, lets hear them here. Mods, soz if this should be posted elsewhere, feel free to move. R.
  4. I'm am an ST member; unfortunately I have NO faith in the current crew, but have chucked my bit in the rattle tin as it's about all I can do as a supporter to help or influence. Pissing in the wind? Christ this is tearing chunks out of me/us. Highs & lows of having a Bolton background. R.
  5. Notworthy, I remember that Reading playoff... From an old job, I used to get a fair few free seat tickets, & entrance to the players bar at Arsenal, & sometimes the old Wembley. Once we grabbed our place in the playoff, I crowed to my mate that I'd get us in to Wembley, gratis. Failed miserably, - so thought I'd buy tickets myself & not tell him I'd weighed out for them. Only tickets I could get were in the Olympic Gallery, & were over £40 each. Grimaced & paid out for the two. 1/2 way through the 'eXpEnSiVe' match he piped up saying he'd remembered supporting Reading as a Kid. F.F.S!! Thank god we won in the way we did. Goals down, & mad man facing a penalty, I just assumed I'd blown nigh on £90 for this?!? Then... R.
  6. In. Having to pick ticket up from the Brom ticket office as I've left it so late, but IN all the same.

  11. By 1977 we had left Bolton, moved south & lived between Luton & St Albans. For my 1st ever Pro footy game my dad took me to:- Orient v Bolton Wanderers, 05 November 1977 ended 1 : 1. Have no memory of why he chose that game, but saw more of Bolton away than at home, for years. R.
  12. Will be at the ground with Lancaster Whites, but I've got a spare ticket with me. Free to a Trotter if they want to meet me at the turnstiles to pick it up. (07867+803403) Casino's ticket to be claimed 1st. Rob.
  13. Didn't really think collecting trainers was a 'thing', unless you were an OG era rapper? Grown men & all that. Then I remember my collection of ald Wanderers tat & fall quiet...
  14. Deffo Luton Scum. I did live in Watford for a while, but mostly just cos they're scum. R.
  15. So do I, - but I don't hate em that much. I save that for Red Pigs & Hatters Scum. Spend time listening to them Yam Yam it up, & mostly you just end up feeling sorry for them...
  16. "Up her Sleve" you say? Tell us more R.
  17. I've been a trust member since near the inception, but being based in the Black Country, I admit I've not pulled my finger out enough to attend any meetings. However I do want to add my vote to having a vote /s on the ACV being in place, (at this time, or at all) the Trust leadership, & importantly it's intended direction. If that has to initially be carried out via a Survey Monkey non sanctioned show of hands, then subject to our voting responses, used to force an official mandated BWST vote/election, lets try it. Who's of us combines the IT knowledge, WW standing & general wherewithal to press on with this? I can afford a little time, but little else that'd allow me to be a mainstay, but very happy to play a part as an underling! Count me in. R.
  18. We'll probs. never know if he paid nowt or even cost, but at least he's wearing our colours. Shame he's chosen a questionable style, but maybe I'm hair jealous, just blessed with a shiny pate, not his greEezy locks. R.
  19. Nice office chair conversion? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bolton-Wanderers-Dugout-Seat-/292212504466?hash=item440938f792:g:BacAAOSw1DtXD8H3 R.
  20. The Cricketers.it is then. Ta. R.
  21. In. Where does everyone go for pre match aperitifs near the ground? I've sussed out the parking over the years, but yet to raise a glass near by. At least it's not dry for the Aways like the Villa ground. Ta, R.
  22. 5 nights camping in the Scilly Isles. 13 young boys all looked after by one man, the Sarong (in the 70's) wearing Headmaster, who now resides at Her Majesty's Pleasure for Kiddy Fiddling. His speciality was reading Dennis Wheatly horror novels to us, obvs in the hope we'd cudduw up all scared like. Only two of the 13 remained un Fiddled with, & luckily I was one of the pair. Must be a reet minger. R.
