  1. It was a tongue in cheek post
  2. I was in a taxi earlier. The driver told me his second cousin works in Nando's and reckons Gary Megson wanted funds to sign a young Lionel Messi.
  3. +1 for the first and last sentence. Sums everything up.
  4. 0:15 seconds in, referee is clapping
  5. I thought Chris Fairclough was finished when we signed him. Turned out to be solid at the back though.
  6. Go down the faulty goods avenue. It's your word against theirs that it works and they'd struggle to prove it does work. (I very much doubt they'll try testing it in store, two days before Christmas.) The very least you'd get is a replacement tv, which you can then return - unopened. As someone else posted, bide your time before approaching customer services.
  7. Correct. Wise chairmen will realise this and no doubt Flitcroft will be back in management before long.
  8. David Isle of N'Dog Jimmy head Case Alan head the Ball
  9. i grew a tash last year and raised money. I've decided to grow it again this time but not do the sponsorship because it is more about awareness. Every time a man, my age or older asks about my tash, I will be encouraging them to get their prostate checked. If it helps just one person, then it will be worth looking "wacky" for 30 days.
  10. Bury St Edmundo
  11. Similarities to the Y word discussion. Seems it's ok for homosexuals to refer to themselves as gay; gay pride, gay marches, gay rights etc, but as soon as someone else calls them gay, they don't like it.
  12. Only time I left mine was in the car while nipping to a cash machine or into a petrol station kiosk to pay for fuel. I would always be on edge even though the car was locked and only a few yards away. How anyone can leave kids and enjoy a meal out is beyond me.
  13. I know an alcoholic lesbian - She likes a good liqueur.
  14. Maybe they're in the top 6 because they've played us...?
  15. Correct. By all accounts, Yeovil were very unlucky against QPR. They were the better team with Green making several top drawer saves to deny them.
  16. Phil Neal laid good foundations which Rioch inherited
  17. http://www.radiorewind.co.uk/radio1/1978_to_1992_page.htm
  18. Freedman and Lomas currently occupy the bottom two places and so happen to be favourites for the sack...?
  19. With respect.. We do need more bums on seats, that's the hypothesis of the thread - ie filling the ground more! 'Exiled' means fans who, for whatever reason, no longer live in the town, it doesn't make someone better or worse for moving away!! There's plenty who have moved away and can be more than "arsed" to be every bit as much of a fan as anyone else! On your final point, no one is asking for tickets to be handed out to all and sundry; just for them to be handed out fairly.
  20. It seems to be the case, which is great for those entitled. But there are exiled Bolton fans who would be more inclined to venture to games if the price was £10. Cheap tickets should be available to all - not just a certain few.
  21. Tickets are available for a tenner?? News to me. Is this a secret handshake club? It's certainly not advertised
  22. Clubs are every bit detached from reality as the mercenaries players on the park. Burnley upped their prices on last season for a game which was on TV this season. Blackburn have cranked their prices up 150% for our visit in a couple of weeks. Given that the season started so early, and we are only half way through the summer school holiday period, hiking prices is a big no no
  23. Holding prices for 8 years is not dropping prices (since relegation)...
  24. Jack Walker was dead when Blackburn won the League Cup.
