Wigan daft enough to make an appearance today?

THE public purse has still not received a penny of the £72 million owed to the taxman by the liquidated company which owned Rangers FC.

You're assuming he has finished sanding down the walls
  4. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
Not disagreeing, I'm just saying walking away at the moment from talks with Ken, doesn't mean he has walked completely. Given Anderson some thinking time
  5. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
Basran has only walked away from talks with Anderson, doesn't mean he has walked away from the takeover

Ken's history will always precede him, and this was why I was always worried in regards to his ownership.

Well, the timing is key in regards to points deductions and when they happen: "From 2007–08, any club entering administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have their 10-point deduction suspended until the following season" Not sure if the above has changed, but they changed it after Leeds went into admin the day after they knew they would be relegated, and so closed the loophole and added the fourth Thursday in March timeline

It's 7 working days as well, just thought I would point that out

In theory, but it would be a strange way of doing it. SEPA or SWIFT rather than BACS, CHAPS would be the normal route for such a high monetary amount

You get my drift though, it is possible his bluff is being called as he made a promise to pay wages knowing full well it would have to come from his personal wealth

Yes, so getting paid Monday is subjective to when today they are paid, hence the players demanding money by 5pm UK time

After looking at some of the information recently, one could say that Anderson is quickly being backed into a corner, let's say that Basran, Davies, Warbies, Heathcote have had discussions together (Warbies, Davies and Heathcote), the ones who are owned money could be playing hard ball, knowing full well Anderson's options are fast running out

would assume it is US as it is a private run clearing house based in the US

Depends where, the banks have approved banks from outside europe, as I said, it depends which bank and country the transfer originates, for example, the bank of kuwait is an approved CHIPS signatory....as an example, not saying that is where it is coming from
  15. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
If it is straight to Anderson for example, we actually don't know where his bank accounts are held, whether it is switzerland, monaco or something like virgin islands etc
  16. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
You can use CHIPS as well, mainly used for US transfers however as we don't know wher ethe money is coming from, you could use CHIPS as well
  17. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
Depends where the money is coming from, international payments of high value can use CHIPS...and no, i'm not joking

I would imagine they just want the money now, I don't believe his family have the same love for Bolton as he did.
  19. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
Davies Family. Deal was here is £5m loan, you don't pay it back by end of feb, you lose your shares Mr Anderson
  20. Wullie replied to Kane57's topic in Terrace Talk
They can if the loan was due back end of Feb, as if that was the case, Anderson loses his 94% of the club.
  21. no safety certificate yet, reviewed by 1pm tomorrow Following the meeting, SAG members were not satisfied that the club is able to meet the required legal safety standards. SAG has agreed to give club until 1pm tomorrow to provide adequate reassurances, otherwise Bolton Council will be legally forced to issue a prohibition notice.

    BYOB party?

Well, we have around 19 days until the winding up order from HMRC, which will not be extended due to our previous issues and also the past history of companies run by Ken Anderson. So he has that short period of time to find a solution. This doesn't include any issues arising from non payment of players (who are protected by the football league), and non payment of staff. I suppose staff could refuse to help in regards to match day, players could go on strike (I suppose), so if we fail to fulfill any fixtures, there may be other penalties (not sure what this could be). With no money left in the coffers, as has been said before on here, it looks very bleak for us. I hope that the issues that have arose can be negotiated around, and a positive solution will arise. Remaining positive.

Wouldn't know what to believe anymore, it could be credible I suppose. REgarding the hampers, hopefully not the stuff people put in the charity bins you see at supermarkets
