To be fair, all the lads involved have kept a dignified silence (unless I missed something)

I did some work for one of the big banks who forgot to change legal entity addresses when they moved offices, and were fined. But take your point, there is no consistency and doesn't really matter, just wanted to make the point you can be fined for wrong information at CH, but they never check, and unless a customer complains regarding that, they certainly wouldn't know.

You actually have to inform Companies House of any change of address, you can be fined heavily for not keeping that information up to date and accurate. He may of course have a residence in Switzerland, and that is the address he is quoting, but he may not technically live there on a regular basis

Ken won't "just do one", he has too much riding financially on this. He may sell to someone who could be worse then him (but I would hope the FA do a proper job on the fit and proper test this time).

Not really, the only other Acts regarding football stadiums are around safety and security, the ACV is a cloak and dagger ACt, where you think it protects an community asset, but like anything else, if something went to legal action, it probably would not stand a test case in law, which is why I was surprised Ken made a thing out of it when the ST went ahead, he still owns the asset and can sell to whomever he wants. A bit like Craven Cottage, when they were redeveloping the ground and Mohamed Al-Fayed owned the ground, he could do whatever he wanted, apart from the grade 2 listed building that was part of the ground, now that has far more standing and power as you would imagine

Yes and No (which is not the answer you were looking for unfortunately), the asset regarding football stadiums is slightly more complicated than other entities. The 2011 Localism Act makes it easier for local communities to bid for and take over the assets, but it still doesn't stop the owner from doing other things, he couldn't though decide to build a supermarket at one end on a whim, not that any club in their right mind would ever do that

Doesn't affect value, the value remains whatever someone is willing to pay for it, the ACV just restricts the actions a current owner can do with or to it, and only for 5 years, so the ACV just is a small barrier, and wouldn't affect the club being sold, even though Ken has intimated that it has or would

The owner of an asset of community value must inform the local authority if they wish to sell the asset. If a group wants to buy the asset, they can trigger a moratorium for six months, to give them a chance to raise the money to purchase the asset. The owner does not have to sell to a community group. The asset of community value listing only improves the chances of community groups being able to purchase by providing more time to raise funds. It does not require the owner to sell at a discount. The listing of a property as an 'Asset of Community Value' lasts for five years after which it is automatically delisted and the restrictions imposed by the covenant are removed. Communities can however apply for the listing to be renewed. Care should be taken to ensure the listing is continuous- apply for renewal not less than 8 weeks before the original listing ends.

If you want to protest either don't go at all or don't go in for the first 10/15 minutes. Throwing stuff is infantile and likely to get you banned, protests inside the ground affect the players, and when it is all said and done, we want the team to win.

He'd have to pay back the money he owes to the PFA first

Think it is worth sleeping on it at the moment. My guess is the winding up petition on the hotel is the priority (god knows what that is all about). The EFL are well within their rights to withhold the money we were/are due in January, which may have complicated matters. He can't keep his gob shut for long, so suspect something from him tomorrow (more in hope then anything else).

Correct. Shortland has a personal axe to grind for some reason, comes over as a bit of an arse. I personally have difficulty trusting our Ken however, he knows he would be on a HMRC watch list for past misdemeanors, I find it hard to believe he is that naive to not know that, most of our recent issues with HMRC is mainly to do with that rather then we are a football club and HMRC are getting more strict. I'm still finding it hard to understand why he got involved with us for the longer term, and then why he says he is turning down offers (or non offers) when he cannot sustain us from a personal pot. But he is here now, and what is sure is without him we may not be here, he also got rid of Holdsworth, whose motives seemed equally disputable.

8 years to be exact. I did post the three reasons he was banned for 8 years but can't find it now. But it was in the line of diverting funds receivable by a company into personal accounts, VAT discrepancies, and failure to cooperate with Receivers, all very serious offences. The bit about bankrupcies etc I am not too sure about.

I find it hard to believe either of them to a greater extent. Anderson especially, as he was banned from being a company director for 8 years for transgressions including diverting company funds into personal accounts, VAT discrepancies and failure to cooperate with receivers. This has always clouded my thoughts against him, and whilst I appreciate he has worked hard in regards to the club, when it comes to his financial mutterings, I always think of the above

he knows players wages, don't have to be a good businessman to be able to comment he knows something about
-
Oztumer
Don't know what the downer is about him, he is one of our most creative players, aye he is small and sometimes gets knocked off the ball, but he can see a pass better than anyone, his form is purely down to parky, who doesn't know how to play to his strengths

SJM was in the Hall Of Fame suite saturday, he was saying that players in general at our level, can afford to do without wages for 3 to 4 months, think I trust his judgement in regards to the hardships of players
-
Wanderers V Swansea
I took a neutral supporter to the match yesterday, he commented the two best players on the pitch for us were Ameobi and Oztumer, based on the fact they both wanted the ball and tried to go forward with attacks, when it was left to the other midfielders, we looked to go either sideways or backwards. He didn't think there was much between us an Swansea, but wondered what said we were very much entrenched in playing one way, our formation and tactics didn't change the whole 90 minutes

Sack the guy, these players can be coached, just not by him

Phil Parkinson
1 win in 11, 5 goals scored can the club afford to keep him for the next four games, especially as we are on downward spiral. It would be a cruel end, but football is fickle, it is about results and the club need to start picking serious points up, especially at home
-
Phil Parkinson
Well, in answer to you question Ani, as we have scored more points away from home than home, I am surprised at our position, as I expected us to be lower BUT, I don't really have positive expectations when playing away but his style does suit us. It is the home form where I think the critique is, and for some reason, I never feel he knows what to do at home, or if he does, he watches a different match to me as we don't play as the home team. But that is just my opinion. And I have only been to 3 home matches this season.

The money loaned to ken to pay the debt is against his share in Bolton Wanderers (so if he doesn't pay it back he loses ownership - but no one knows over how many years he has to do this) , still trying to find the actual evidence but I am led to believe that this is the case

Sheffield United Home
Parky is not going to change so expect feast or famine football. But if it consolidates us in the championship perhaps we'll be better next season
-
Sheffield United Home
I'm trying to recollect the comment about "big Dave" jumping in our home end and giving a few slaps. I know there was bother outside that was dealt with, but don'r remember blades coming out on top in the home end.

Reading Away
Understand, but it is what you do with possession when you have it that counts, and then closing down and minimising space for the opponent to attack, so that stat can be misleading
