  1. Bournemouth have spent a small fortune for this league.
  2. But that benefits the friend of the season ticket holder, rather than the season ticket holder.
  3. I don't even know why you're asking the question then. If people can save a few quid by watching the occasional game on telly, they'll give the less attractive fixtures a miss. I don't know what City charge for season tickets but if they're struggling to sell out Champions league games it suggests that their supporters are already picking and choosing their games, based on what's available on live telly. If they weren't competing at the top end of the Premier League, it would probably be the Premier League games they were picking and choosing between. I don't remember them selling out their stadium that regularly before the Arabs turned up.
  4. So why do City have to offer incentives to get people to turn out for a vital Champions League game?
  5. They were talking on the radio after the game as if Villa had never been relegated from the top flight.
  6. I have neither. They're not moaning about the investment, just that none of it finds it's way back to the fans. Let's see how attractive the 'product' is when there's a half empty stadium watching Swansea take on Bournemouth.
  7. That was nothing to do with ticket prices though.
  8. Because they won't always be in the Premier League and if people stop going because they can't afford it, they won't suddenly start going again when their presence becomes more important to the club.
  9. It was crap crowd night in the Championship tonight. Only Ipswich, Cardiff and Reading had decent turnouts and i would imagine Wednesday and Leeds probably took a few to Ipswich and Reading.
  10. ...and i don't remember it concerning you much back then.
  11. Maybe not but it's something that Dougie seemed incapable of doing.
  12. Because football shouldn't just be about the big clubs at the top.
  13. So when will some of this revenue find its way back to the supporters in the form of cheaper ticket prices?
  14. 11,000 at Bournemouth for a top of the table game. Is that all it holds?
  15. Up to 13th. Two points off 10th.
  16. Apart from Brentford who lost.

I'm not sure that buyers will be queueing up to buy a club in the third tier, with limited support, no real training ground and a half finished stadium.

It's that sort of insight that you can only find on an internet message board. They're missing out.
  19. They have something similar in Berlin: http://www.stolpersteine-berlin.de/en/stolpersteine

Was it worth taking it to court?

But if everyone 'fucks off', there is no club. This is the sort of thing that's going to focus attention on the genuine grievances of their fans, even if that isn't actually the point of this legal action. It's all a bit counter productive.

You're just repeating what we already know without really answering the initial question.

Surely it would have been enough to threaten legal action if the comments weren't withdrawn or if any further libelous comments were posted. Does anyone really take people who post this stuff seriously? Highlighting the comments just gives them an importance they don't really deserve. I'm not really sure what they're hoping to achieve with this. Taking on your own club's supporters is never a good idea.
  24. I think the inclusion of the 'healing' section of the footage was interesting, particularly the bit about the British setting up clothing stores in Bergen-Belsen and naming them after high street stores like 'Harrods', when they realized it would have a beneficial effect on the recovery process of the inmates. Apparently they also shipped in lipstick for the women for the same reason.
  25. The bonds don't return 4% per annum, they pay 4% minus the tax when the bond matures in 3 years time.
