Absolutely. Taken from the situation at half time it's a great result and much improved but overall and looking at the result it's dreadful and certainly 2 more points dropped against a team in awful form . I'm not sure if tiredness as played some part but it's worrying how quickly we seem to be conceding after the first goal goes against us.

The Arsenal team last night was full of internationals and players with Champions league experience galore , our players are from division 3 and most of them are there for a reason . Even the Arsenal team of 20 years ago would find it tough with the Fitness , movement and passing speed of the modern day players , roughing up the opposition is all well and good but you have to get near them first . I thought we didn't disgrace ourselves last night against a squad light years ahead of us quality wise.

It's 39 years today that we played at Forest in the Milk Cup , it was my first game and you gave me a heads up about it because I was too young to remember much .it's also 32 years since we also lost in the league cup at Forest when Keane was immense . I hope I have better luck down there tonight .

We always seemed to win enough to keep in touching distance , I think the 2 wins over the Easter weekend set us on the way although I think Torquay only had to win 1 of the last 2 and lost them both iirc

Just looked in the good old Rothmans , the lowest placing was 16th after the Scarborough match ( 3 games ) and then in October we went as low as 13th before hugging 6th and 7th for a chunk of the season.
