What an utter moron Wish our board would get a move on. Just wasting our season the more chances we give him. It’s awful the abuse Evatt and his son received. But to talk about crossing line

  • I’m being deliberately harsh here, but: 2 points or not, there are 12 teams ahead of us in the league and a play off spot is not the aim. We’ve won 3 on the spin, against Reading, Crawley an

relegation 6 pointer

Can’t drop points in our next 2

3-0

Sitting in the South Stand in a tactical effort to get a quick dash to the rugby.

Naturally the team will look up to my usual seat, see I’m not there and decide they’re going to lose deliberately.

Did nt we beat Reading ?

This game is real potential banana skin IMO, of course on part looks like a home banker, but we never do anything easy do we ?

pre season, i thought it was a tough start

not as tough as we made it look, but tough anyway

we (fortunately) got a belting win at Orient which really did buy a little bit of time

id not have put any money on us winning both the last 2, but i wouldve backed us v exeter and shrewsbury i don't like the term must win, especially in the first 10, but 'really should win' them 2

if we win the next 2, its been a reasonable start

room for improvement, but certainly not abusing players and staff tackle

so, bolton 1 shrewsbury 3

Win next two and we have 19 from first 10 so closing in on the two points per game usually needed.

Good news is currently only 2 teams are hitting the 2 point target.

Less good news is that your perceived tough start after Burton and Shrewsbury we will have played 10 games, but only 2 in the league against anyone in top 10.

However the over riding feeling has to be performances and results have improved beyond most expectations in last few games.

Loads of goals 7,6,2 and 6 in last four.

tough start was the first few

i think i stated pre season could definitely see us failing to win any of first 3

its definitely got easier, but i almost never go into an away game thinking a point would be terrible, hence why im well impressed at the latest 2

the exeter though, thats going down as this years carlisle

I know a few S/T holders in ESL who are missing this to watch Leigh.  Crowd could be decimated 😀

Last year the perception was a great 1st half of season, which it was in the end, but after 11 games upto Carlisle we only had 20 points.  So not unreasonable to aim for the same again.  Although we did win 6 on the trot after that 😀

Hoping to have a taxi waiting outside the hotel right on full time and dodge the traffic 🙏

Would it not be better to have the taxi pick you up on the roundabout ?

👍 I am parking on hotel car park this week, not sure what it is like getting off there, can not see millions from Shrewsbury turning out.

Folk spoke about this situation last year.

Firstly, is it set in stone who will be in the top ten by then?

Moreover, we got twatted by Huddersfield.

They were in the top ten at the time.

We just twatted their twatters.

Last thing on the players' minds I reckon.

Statistically we are one point behind where we where last season after the same number of games .jsl.

what time you leaving on?

anything like close to full time and you ain't getting anywhere near their ground without a long walk to get their in time for 5.30

he could taxi to leigh and train to wigan?

arf

seriously

cab to westhoughton, 1655 train to wallgate at 1706?

It can be a nightmare as there’s only one exit and then you have to join the traffic coming off the other car parks.

I go into the hotel until about 5.30 and it’s a clear drive home.

Cab to Miry Lane should dodge the traffic easiest enough. Might be best leaving just before full time so hopefully we’re at least a couple of goals clear 😂
