A mate of mine is a Huddersfield fan, was talking to him about this the other day as it goes. He still can't believe they stayed up aswell 😂 He was saying he can't work if it was a good thing they did, as a season of misery followed. He came to the conclusion in the end that it was defo worth it for the feeling he had when they managed it.

Yeah, don't know about it being the full second half but my old man used to come and pick us up as kids in the 90's on the days he's couldn't make the game himself. He always said he just walked up the steps at the burnden terrace (lever end corner) to catch the last 20 mins as the gates were open.

What a fuxkin result that's turned out to be. Great day out. Only our second away day of this season. Why dint we do it more 😁 COYFWM!!!!

Any advice on a pub with fellow whites in??

Do they do food in there? Might take the lads in there for something to eat and a couple beers when we finish early next Friday.

Tried a few of the pubs round Athy as I've been working down that way for the last few years. Never been in there though. I'll have to sample a post work pint or 2 in there at some point 👍

Fella that sits next to me, for about 7 or 8 years now, leaves every week without fail on 80 mins. He's a great lad, the sort that I'd consider a mate now even just through seeing at the footy and nowhere else, but the amount of "moments" he's missed over the years is fuckin crazy. Asked why once and he reckons missing them things is outweighed by beating traffic. Honestly can't my head round that way of thinking

Well, credit where it's due, I thought it'd be a load of shite but the race was pretty good. Plenty of action throughout the field, quite enjoyed it. Still......... fucking americans, plenty of cringe moments pre and post race.

Probably due to the fact that every single person I spoke to during the week and before the game in fanzone were expecting us to crumble due to reasons well discussed on here as well. Anybody confident going into that game was definitely in the minority. Made it all the sweeter though when that thunderbolt hit the back of the net.

I could here them as i was crossing the road to get to the path, by the time I got there they were all just stood round looking at each other wondering where they should go. Made right tits of themselves.
