  1. Prior to all that I remember getting home from the boozer when they shut at 11 and watching Police Squad on the telly on a Friday night (I think). It was comedy that was so different. Loved Leslie Nielson from that point on
  2. Aye like this near me. Done for likes on social media and fuck all other reason
  3. Dreadful. Username and passwords accepted and just takes me round in circles. Keep thinking it might be me but tried on phone and laptop
  4. Wish todays commentators were as good as him One of the voices of my childhood The excitement of going to a game on a Saturday and then watching the highlights on a Sunday. Happened more than usual in the Greaves era
  5. Takes me through the exact same process accepts my username and password and then tells me I don’t have permission. Thanks mate for your effort. I’ll ring them at some point tomorrow
  6. Thanks pal but computer still says no…..
  7. I’m 72 hours in and still don’t have permission to buy a ticket and have two emails telling me that I’ve registered and that I’m a member
  8. Same issue for me. Gonna phone up instead
  9. Blues Brothers Animal House Kentucky Fried Movie Life of Brian
  10. Aye me too. For once, I actually have a free weekend and can go to both this and the Crewe game. Booze fest and food in Horwich on Sunday, night at the Premier Inn, and day off work on Monday
  11. Aye that’s not good but some strange results this weekend This Packers game shows how much they depend on Rodgers
  12. Ffs. The BBC really need to get a decent host for their highlights package like they used to have with Chappers Jason and Osi are utter wank as hosts on that programme Jason Bell shows tonight on SKY how good he is as a pundit with a decent host running the show
  13. Mother is Yarkshire. There was always Wensleydale at Christmas with the cake
  14. Can’t disagree with you there. He was looking after himself today and fucked up in the end
  15. Light? 😂 Brilliantly ironic considering where this thread is going. Chapeau sir
  16. This Packers/Chiefs game is very interesting See the Cardinals are looking good again
  17. Not having that at all. Love Micah. Would have him above any other pundit on the telly at the moment
  18. Listening to the Toto interview and watching the start again sadly Bottas was dreadful. Could easily have moved left and Max could have exited turn 1 in 5th or 6th. He was obviously concentrating on where Lewis was and trying to prove himself. Understandable from his point of view being pissed off at being released but did the team no favours in the end
  19. Know what you mean but they have the supreme co-comm in Brundle who is superb
  20. Tbh have a bit of a concern these days. Good, fast tracks like here, Monza and Silverstone have become a bit dull and processional. Slightly worried that we’re going back to those days between Prost/Senna and the emergence of Hamilton when F1 was a bit shit for a few years livened only by Schumacher. No knee jerk needed at the moment but folk will get turned off if it continues too long
  21. Bit dull that. Bit of a procession and no decent midfield action. Not a good track for overtaking. Won at the first corner that race. Well done Max.
  22. All races are Sunday evening for me. Record them, stay away from media and watch as live with a few beers. Very civilised
