That’s me to be honest. Plan was always to finish at 58 which is next year. I got through losing over £100K in a divorce 20 years ago but hadn’t quite planned on two redundancies quite close together so that changed things slightly. I could go now, just about, but I’d be bored I think. My Dad finished at 62, played golf for a year, and got a part-time job at Bolton Business Ventures for the next 5-6 years because he was struggling to fill his days. I also plan on sending chunks of cash Traf’s way over the next few years as there’s too many places I’ve not visited in this world and a pension won’t allow that.

Lived in Sharples, Smithills and Chew Moor when I lived in Bolton and I really do miss the easy access to Winter Hill and Rivi which are fantastic areas to have close by. What I don’t miss is a shit town centre and poor transport links I don’t actually like living in East Manc, and would happily move tomorrow, but it’s way easier to get into Manc (obvs), it’s perfect for my job, it’s a piece of piss to get to the airport and the Peak District and living not far from a couple of Metrolink stops is a bigger benefit than I ever thought it would be Next move is probably North towards Rammy/Rossendale way
