  1. The way we were playing a few weeks ago, you would have counted that as a blessing, ::lol::!!!
  2. I believe Led Zeppelin had a run in with Willie Dixon as their Lemon Song was based on his song Killing Floor. On initial pressings of Led Zeppelin II the song is credited to Jimmy Page/Robert Plant, but later pressings credit the song to Willie Dixon. No mention of Robert Johnson though as the 'Squeeze my lemon' lyric was borrowed from his song Travelling Riverside Blues. Also Memphis Minnie was co-credited with the band on their song When The Levee Breaks from Led Zeppelin IV.
  3. Felt sorry for ALF in a way, didn't really get the chance he deserved at Bolton.
  4. That I do know, but it's a rare musical example of somebody parodying plaigerism in music.
  5. Worthington DID play in the 1979/80 season and at number 10. So technically I'm still right. Nice try numb nuts!!! By the way I said 1980-ESQUE, the shirt I was referring to was being used from the late 70s to the early 80s until sponsorship came in (Knight Security, B.E.N., T.S.B. etc) So jog on, and go and troll somebody else.
  6. I said 1980-esque NOT 1980
  7. A classic scene from The Room
  8. Have a 1980-esque long sleeve Bolton home shirt from Toffs and the ONLY name and number I wanted on it was Number 10 and Worthington.
  9. I'm surprised as I thought the point of watching The Disaster Artist is to prepare you for watching The Room or vice versa. Yes The Room is a bad movie...a very bad movie, but it's strangely watchable and untimately re-watchable
  10. Zak Knight: Hold my football boots,!!!
  11. Not a chain pub, but my mate and I went to see Bolton v West Brom away in the championship and we had THE worst macaroni cheese and chicken tikka masala curry at a Tesco's near the ground. Cost us £6 each.
  12. Definately World In Action, but my all time favorite came from the mid 80s...The Cook Report
  13. You're a funny guy,!!!
  14. Still going through my 'So bad it's good" film phase. Three years after buying the DVD and I'm still obsessed with Tommy Wiseau's The Room and Samurai Cop, the no budget Lethal Weapon rip-off
  15. Sofia Coppola I think it was, broke out the turd polish and failed real horrorshow
  16. Johnathan King did a very funny piss take of this saga in the late 70s, can't remember the name of it but one of the lyricss was "See you in court"
  17. Last time I was in Blackpool 20 years ago, I struggled to see Blackpool,!!!
  18. I bet the photographer Harry McGuire is a better footballer than the one playing for Man Urinals,!!!
  19. David Lee may be gone, but his iconic hairstyle lives on...
  20. To go into Bernard Woolley mode for a mo, it's cocks that technically pull out rather than fannies, ::lol::!!!
  21. And a fine Merzit Ozil impression it must have been,!!!
  22. Being an acute depressive, supporting Bolton didn't make that much difference,!!!
  23. Brace yourself tonight Mrs. Nikolic
  24. Almost forgot what winning well felt like!!!
  25. Celtic lost 2-1 to St. Mirren 😂
