Typical post from a Bristol Rovers forum: "My favourite Gas player in a long time. Good luck trotting along at Bolton, hopefully in the Championship in six months time!"

I know you shouldn't trust highlights reels, but fuck me how exciting is that video of his goals and assists from last season. Scores screamers from outside the box with both feet, wins headers, scores one on ones, can dribble, cross, comes deep to link up play ... In all honesty, how many of those goals would we expect Dion to score? Here's hoping he hits the ground running and brings the best out of Dion / Vic. Looks a great signing this. * * apologies for the traditional wakey kiss of death

Not anymore - been withdrawn. I weaned off cigs with vapes. Then went from flavoured to tobacco flavoured to encourage me to give up. Now enjoy tobacco flavoured vapes. Need motivation / method to wean off the fuckers. Seems to do me more harm in terms of breathlessness and coughing than decades of smoking ever did. I looked up champix cos I thought I'd give it a go

Talented lad and interesting back story. Done a wide range of stuff - worth checking the Ren and Chinchilla stuff. Used to be in The Big Push - spent most of their time busking covers in Brighton but also did some original stuff. Big thing down there apparently - sold out a 2,000 capacity venue in their farewell gig. Not bad for a bunch of buskers.- Bradford City (H)

Must be the most Boltonian the club's been in donkey's years. Co-owner, manager, assistant, head of academy, couple of the youngsters who'll be around the first team squad this year ... and we've already had a Boltonian captaining the side this season. Liking Hill's reputation for playing good football and bringing through the youth according to Rochdale fans. Really positive move this, adds to the feel that it's the beginning of a new - and much brighter - era.- Next manager
Not sure but he went to Canon Slade. Lives on Bradshaw Road now apparently.- Next manager
Happy with that. Experienced - and at this level - reputation for decent footie, seemingly well liked by Rochdale fans. And nice to have a couple of local lads in charge.- Take Over

Chuffed that I've cancelled my Sky subscription and wishing I had Sky at the same time. Think I'm done with refreshing for today. Gut feel is at best a fairly meaningless announcement dragging it on into tomorrow. Which is a damn site better than the worst case, but not worth wasting the rest of the night waiting for. You can all thank me when the successful takeover's announced in five minutes.- Take Over

Cheers. If it's Mrs Ken, can't see the logic of redacting. Could be another Ken entity, but as you point out would have to be registered to same address as Ken (that said, we don't know if the redacted address is Ken's personal address).- Take Over

Could the discrepancies between the amounts owed to EDT and KA relate to the money loaned to KA in September, i.e. EDT trying to cut ICI out on the basis that that money is owed immediately to them and should go directly to them rather than via ICI. Contractually it has to go to ICI first, but Ken's only reason to object to (a purely hypothetical) variation suggested by EDT would be that he had no intention of actually paying them back.- Take Over

The last few times we've had a vacancy there've been plenty names thrown into the hat. It's an outmoded method and it simply hasn't worked. Maybe we should try a more structured method - seek applications and maybe apply an interview process. Alternatively, give Parkie's bingo machine a whirl. Has to be better. Who the fcuk even wears hats these days.- Take Over

David Lee has too much of the Sammy Lee never-a-fucking-manager air about him for me. Agree he seemed too keen feathering his own nest when PP was still in charge, and add to that any success the U-23s have had is with players brought through from younger age groups, i.e. who really gets the credit - Lee or Spooner / Phillips / McCann? Not averse to appointing from within on the basis that this season will be a write off anyway. Could give it any (or combination) of Phillips / McCann / Darby / Spooner provided they were aware it was potentially a stop-gap and would be prepared to step back into previous roles if / when it didn't work out. At this point, looks like we'll be relying on a fair smattering of youth to supplement any free agents we manage to add, so fits from that angle too. Failing that, what's that nob head who used to manage Peterborough up to now? The one from the documentary. He was piss funny.- Take Over
Since this thread is 1000+ pages of speculating without any of them pesky fact things things getting in the way, here's one for the conspiracy theorists. Kamani's bid for the hotel is lower but more cash up front. FV's is higher, less cash up front. Ken wants Kamani - wants as much cash up front, the aim being he gets it straight out of ICI and into Monaco / Switzerland then winds up ICI before paying what he owes to EDT. (I think it's also entirely possible that Ken strangles kittens, and unless anyone can definitively prove otherwise I'll assume it's true.) - The Elite Posters Music Thread
