I agree on some of the rhetoric but it is fair enough to be concerned about the physical effects these matches might have on the youngest players. It's not just about energy and enthusiasm, senior football is a notable step up in physicality and intensity. It's common to manage the minutes of very young players when they first break into the first team for that reason.

Alright then, an administration process mid-season in 2016 initiated by EDT would've been infinitely preferable to an administration process beginning in the close season 2019.
I very much understand why it didn't happen, it's not a criticism, but, in hindsight, and given the question was asked, I think it would've been better for us. Bit it is what it is.
The story is that he handed his notice in during the summer, which the administrators appealed. It went to an independent panel as a result, and they found in his favour (presumably yesterday).
I think so. I can only envisage an adjournment on Wednesday, which I expect will force FV to walk away, and then I don't know where we'll end up.
I'd much rather be happy than right, though.
I don't think Bassini (or anyone else for that matter) is in the bidding for the hotel in the hope that the football club gets liquidated, the stadium bought and then flattened, and the land redeveloped for profit.
I'm wondering if the fact that the legal action is against Burnden Leisure rather than the club itself means that they can't?
Also, even if they could, they might consider it an unecessary financial risk considering the case is in court on Wednesday anyway?
