  1. Ok, Mr daddy manager knows best.
  2. Ok just to clarify i was on a working holiday visa in Australia, but now live back in the UK, after it ended. You're a very strange man asking me all these questions, come to Poulton-le-Fylde and i'll give you all the answers you need.
  3. You know we lost over £11 million a last year and £5 million the year before, it's all fun and games while youre spending other peoples money. Our fixed costs are too high for a League 1 club.
  4. USA? I currently live near Blackpool you swivel eyed moron.
  5. I don't even understand why the happy clappers are on here, what's there to discuss, the manager knows more than they do so he must always be correct.
  6. 15 mins out of a 90 min game, even then it was more like 352, than what i suggested.
  7. You'll never win with the happy clappers, if it were upto them Evatt would still be here blaming a new set of 20+ players he signed for "mentality".
  8. No he wasn't, playing Johnston at left back in a 433 or whatever it was, was not my side. Don't talk shite.
  9. Clueless management. The man famous for being flexible has become inflexible but only when it comes to us.
  10. The doctor knows better than you he's a professional in that field, who are you to disagree? You see how stupid you sound when you apply it to anything but football managers... they're not Infallible look at Evatt. "But we as fans can’t possibly pretend to know the answers" are you broken?
  11. Might i just add that the formation i selected above is the formation SS has ALREADY used to get promoted from this league before. I might also add that in Plymouth's season in the Championship he started by playing 433 but due to being inconsistent away from home and defensive leaks (sound familiar)? he switched back to 3421 in most games. So it isn't that "believe their opinion is on a level of that as professional manager" I'm using THEIR own tactical decisions and analysis as a template for my own analysis. Does this make sense? hope that helped. If a doctor comes upto you and says i'm going to chop your head off to make your knee feel better, you wouldn't just keep quiet because he's a doctor he must know more.
  12. Sheehan is too weak and shies from getting stuck in, you can't afford that in a 2 man central midfield. Their only jobs are to stop the opposition's attacks, receive the ball from defenders or to get the ball back and release it to a more technical player further up the pitch as fast as they can.
  13. Would love us to try something like this, SS won League 1 playing this formation.
  14. In a 3 you can afford Sheehan, in a 2, he's a liability. The quality he shows in a 3 is actually detrimental in a 2. A 2 man midfield isn't really there to be anything other than a big recycling machine designed to stop the opposition from playing while getting the ball back to your players. This idea that that in a 2 man midfield, that you can have a league 1 Andrea Pirlo pinging balls around from deep as some kind of deep-lying playmaker (regista) while at the same time as having wingers and a no 10, is a fantasy. Too many chefs not enough waiters.
  15. Undeserved absence from the squad for me. If you're going to play with a middle 2, both have to be physical, I like Sheehan as a bloke but he'll never be that, he too often shies away from tackles and contact. If you can't do that the only situation in which you'll ever control the midfield is if they put 10 men in their half. Might be the reason we keep scoring late while trailing a game...? maybe?
  16. I think we need to go with 3-4-2-1, it's the only formation i can think of which SS has used before and suits us, especially with our best wingers out. Actually uses the wing backs as wing backs and plays to their strengths.

    DALBYYYYYY

Sheehan and Erhahon together just doesnt work in a middle 2, Sheehan's too weak for this formation. Fine in a 3 or with wing backs but doesnt work as a 2.

First time in ages outside of Wigan we've absolutely dismantled a team.

100% went over the line that.

Some great nights but it's always such a shock to see the kind of dross we had by that point. Starting with Cid and Michalik vs Bayern Munich takes the cake. Half the benches here never played above the national league.

    No. In a 4231, the 3 aren't midfielders. It doesn't work.
