Quite. This is professional sport. The ONLY thing that matters is the result. If you can get it whilst playing entertaining football, great. But not one Lincoln fan would've given a toss with how they were set up to play against us, they won. Just to add though, we have played some fantastic football and don't look out of place so far. Need to wise up quick though and maybe sometimes settle for a point, every one will be vital this season.

Know what you are saying but so far, we don't look out of our depth. We do need to take our chances of wins though, and bloody quick. Easy to get cut adrift in this league and we will get a few beatings.

This window has been pretty good. Getting good striking options is always the toughest bit though. Like others have said, we can't really compete on price with most of this league. Half decent strikers go for a bloody fortune it seems.

Hope that's right about the pacey bit, that's what we desperately need up top. I'm not telling you and most of us on here what you already know though. Window hasn't closed yet and I'd hope someone is working their arses off to get another striker in 🙏

Been some results already that have surprised me. Didn't see Charlton starting like a house on fire but there we go. Hopefully we can surprise a few ourselves

Think their season Oxford went up, they had a poor start to the season and looked in trouble. They'd brought something like 16 new players in. Once they gelled, they did fine and stopped up. Our new lads will need a bit of time to get up to speed. Firmly believe we will have a better team out in a few weeks time - we do need strikers in though.

Of course they will be aiming higher, we are all hoping for this. But they'd take staying up guaranteed, as would we.

I think if we stay up we've improved a lot. Huge step up to this level.

Pretty sure last week they had 12 subs on the bench so I wouldn't read too much into it. I'd be more surprised if he wasn't involved tbh

They will have this marked down as 3 points. Need to be at our best right from the off. 5 or 6 games after this are absolutely brutal.

Tbh, if you are losing so late on, you don't care if the oppo leave men up, you're still going to throw everyone forward because you need a goal. So yeah, in that instance you want everyone back defending.

Cracking point that. Don't care one jot that we were second best, no style points in this game. We will get better and have a better squad of players in a couple of weeks. COYWM 💪

Definitely. But it was an obvious hand on the back ref couldn't miss it and he gave it straight away. Nothing in it at all though. Tbf, thought ref was ok, better than the shockers we've had in division 3

Yeah, you know I was one who questioned them mate. And also said I wasn’t in a position to know what the situation with players was so completely take on board what you're saying 👍. I think the fact that we conceded almost immediately after the defensive subs gave the lads no time to get into the game, was always going to be backs to the wall after that. Think if we'd gone another 5 minutes we'd have seen the game out comfortably. The timing just made it look bad, let's face it,there aren't many games when the starting 11 does the whole match

Might be in danger of getting a bit carried away with yesterday's performance, but just watching goals again and not seen mention of Dalby's first involvement in his goal. Superb control and instant touch to free up McAtee. I may have missed mention but it was good enough to bring up again if I did 😀
