Yeah, it's just down to consistency isn't it imho. And that's a big part of the reason why they are playing for us in division 3. I think we have some good players. Not many are shite, just up and down.

Probably not many mate. They brought in a load of new players in the summer, I read somewhere 17. I'll qualify this by saying I've no idea how many of their team from last season are playing regularly 🤷‍♂️. But that many incoming says a lot Cos I'm still off work and bored (and a bit of a sad bastard too 😄), did a bit of digging and they brought in 16.

Yes, the certainly seem to overcome the odds more than you'd expect. Arsenal might play a great game and still get had over. Or they could just bottle it 🤷‍♂️

I know you've mentioned a few times about the folk behind the scenes ready to stick money in. Someone else a couple of weeks ago mentioned its easier at this level to spend than in division 2, something to do with how ffp works 🤷‍♂️. Maybe they'd be better shoving some money in this summer and having a go at it. (Think the amount we spent this year was a lot for us mind, just a shame who was spending it 😒)

Been boring folk to death about this for a while. Think football at this level is fairly straightforward and there's no real need to overthink things. Strength and pace do matter a lot. Hope Schumacher sorts that out for next season.

Thing is though, there are always daft results at this time of year. Honestly, before the game it had the fag end of the season letdown about it. Like Shrewsbury last year and Accrington the year before. All games we should be winning but just couldn't get it done. Big blow definitely but there be another twist yet.

We've played well enough and would win more often than not. Their keeper has had a great game, fair play 🤷‍♂️

Want as many of our players available as possible. Would love him to be fit and ready for the run in, be a massive plus at this stage of the season. Not interested in next season and the fact that he wont be here until it starts. Let's try to win 10 more games this season.
