Clean sheets 2023

Big defensive effort in 2023 including two really good keepers.20231231_152249.thumb.jpg.bcc6374a392578e7afdd491c1c060e1d.jpg

Most goals and most clean sheets?

That's a surprise seeing as all our players are shit 😉

To be fair it shows the stats are pointless and we are in the same division. Impressive to be top of this though.

Only thing I’m interested in is come May we get promoted, impressive yes but I’m not really arsed

Quite.

Nice to have, but over two seasons, it doesn't guarantee anything.

Clearly shows improvements though.

That's an impressive stat

Big Sam would be happy to manage a team so good a "nullifying" and "snuffing out" the opposition, as he used to say.

Most goals and clean sheets, albeit not top of th league and worse GD than 2 teams below us, simply not good enough

Evatt out

Evatt out

You can have some further analysis of the clean sheets at no extra cost:

22 league games, 8 cup ties

Teams we kept 2 clean sheets against: Lincoln, Cheltenham, Port Vale, Shrewsbury, Exeter, Oxford (both away), Fleetwood, Plymouth, Pompey.

Exactly half the clean sheets were at home, the other 15 away/Wembley

Only 3 of the 30 were 0-0 draws, won 27.

These calendar year stats are meaningless

Especially if they dont fit some half baked negativity

The negative ones are generally even worse. Pet hate is being told players haven't scored in 5 months in September.... Usually equates to about 5 games

Unusual, but I'd take the stats that start in August and end in May as the benchmark
