Leyton Orient (H)

The first of three tough matches coming up starting with Orient.

They seem to have hit some form but hopefully lessons learnt against Shrewsbury should get us a win.

That's how you do it. Adapt to the match win the match We'd have stuck with the one formation the entire game under the willy waver

Did I mention Schuey loves a comeback win??

  • Agreed, and thank fuck it was Evatt that went and not him. The great thing about having Morley in there is that in games where they just sacrifice a player to take Sheehan out, like they did toda

Thought Orient were a really good side, helped early on by a cautious set up from ourselves. Expected the worst when 1-0 down thought it was superb result to come back and win that. Nice to see us lately responding to being behind with increased tempo stuff, rather than just more of the same. wont always work but has the bonus effect of getting the crowd more into it as well like we saw second half. Atmosphere was quality.

Johnston MOM for me, Cogley great again using his engine as a fullback, opp winger in league 1 is always going to struggle to keep up with that. Think it has to be taken into account that JDC made it easy for Schon, Tutu was a little restricted by Murphys obvious struggles, particularly first half, it dragged him into a bit of a battle that doesn't suit his game

The timing and weight of Collins' pass for Mcatee's finish was sublime.

I didn't think Orient were all that tbh.
They were typical L1 Industrious, physical and dark, but they lacked a cutting edge and really shouldn't have scored at all.

Agree with this. IF we can get in the play offs this season, I do think it’s a 4 way shootout without an outstanding team. Although, perversely, last season you’d have put night and day between us and Oxford and look what happened.

Not entirely sure what I’m trying to say tbh 😂
