February 15, 20251 yr The first of three tough matches coming up starting with Orient. They seem to have hit some form but hopefully lessons learnt against Shrewsbury should get us a win.

February 16, 20251 yr Big game, against a play off rival. As I said elsewhere, they've not lost an away league game since October 26th. Win, and were into the position(s) we need to be.
February 16, 20251 yr I think going forward, I trust SS with whatever starting x1 he wants to go with. Because he can change it up, yesterday and Crawley both prove the adaptions he can do work. So if Schon and Tutu start on the bench for example, we know what they bring when they come on, and we also know that he’s thought about how the oppo set up and how he wants to manage the game. Dare I say plan A and plan B. It’s good. Keeps us lot on our toes too! Anyway a battling 2-0 win on Saturday keeps the feel good factor going.
February 16, 20251 yr Their manager linked with the Blackburn job. Hopefully that'll upset their preparations.
February 16, 20251 yr Play on the front foot from the outset. Get down the flanks. Make them worry about us instead of the other way round, and we’ll win.
February 16, 20251 yr This has become a very big game. Wellens being linked with Blackburn. We need to win this.

SS said that was his philosophy. Of course he will have seen what they can do, and will plan accordingly, but it will be difficult if we give a good side a head start.
February 17, 20251 yr With 8 games coming up in March we could really do with a result against Orient to set the tone and I think Schumacher will be able to deliver it all being well. Tough game though.
February 17, 20251 yr We need to start these next 3 game with a win - not easy, but if we are to make the playoffs we have a lot of big games in the run in where we need to pick points up

Games against the likes of Orient are real 6 pointers and if we’re going to finish above them then we obviously need to beat them to peg them back. A few of the challenging teams have tough runs like this so there will be lots of points lost by others. I believe we have the tools to beat anyone under SS so I’m expecting us to continue our current run but we must stop giving away the silly goals to do it.

February 18, 20251 yr A comprehensive win please. Doesn't have to be a cricket score job, just solid and dominant throughout. Tight at the back, solid yet creative in midfield, and intelligent and incisive in attack.
February 18, 20251 yr Orient have a bit of fight about them this year and are especially strong on the right where most of their attacks come from - a lot of pressure on Murphy and Schon dealing with Galbraith and especially Sonny Perkins who I rate. Keep Kelman under wraps and we should be ok defensively. A lot depends on Schuey to navigate this one and get through their back four. We need to score first IMO.

Worth noting that in his 4 games so far we've faced the same issue we often faced under IE this season which is scoring first and/or in the first half
