Seems Nigeria actually tops the league for ethnic cleansing of Christians. Plenty of oil there , thought we’d have heard.

Yeah I've seen some of the summary execution videos. I don't know where to start with this is it who the best countries are to influence the combatants. It seems to be slowly gaining more traction in the media - but it's years too late for a lot of people.

It’s still not getting anywhere near the air time it needs. It’s getting on for 3 years now, similar numbers of deaths (many estimates are a lot higher) to Palestine yet most people wouldn’t have a clue of any conflict.

I know. It's bloody horrible mate. I think most people that follow the news know it's going on. But the general public are still completely oblivious.

A load of worthless desert and a few million darkies without a pot to piss in will not be a very tempting mission for any first world country.

Especially when they’re islamers

Nor should it be.

That includes letting in "refugees" who are likely to bring their conflict with them.

Massive famine, western help, continued conflict, western military observation putting these soldiers at risk, for what?

Leave them to it, and leave them there.

The anti government RSF sem well equipped, just brought down a Sudanese military Illyushin 76 using a Chinese misile system

Looks like things might to be about to get extremely messy over there again. If it wasn't messy enough already.

The RSF seem to be preparing for a major offensive against the SAF in El-Obeid.

Weirdly, I was given a lumbar punch yesterday by a lovely Sudanese lady at the hospital, and she mentioned how messy it was getting.

it’s strange having political discussions about African countries whilst a massive needle is being inserted into your spinal column but it was a helpful distraction from the utter misery.

I had one when I was 8. The very pretty nurse said I was very brave and that she had seen grown men cry after having it done. Did you cry?

Seriously, hope it’s nothing serious. I was in hospital for 10 days afterwards.👍

Fortunately no, thanks ☺️ .

suspected burst vessel at the top of my neck so checking for a bleed, but it was all clear. I didn’t cry but I can say with all humility that I have never clenched so hard in my life. It’s fckin grim.

The CT scan was much more pleasant. You get to lie down and there are no needles

I had dye injected into my spine as a kid, that really was unpleasant.

Then I had to stay upright for 4 hours while the dye dissipated but it turned out it should have been 8 hours minimum so it made me ill as fuck, spent the next week in hospital.
