They can't afford to live there Same with many areas - I avoid being called a DFL as my kids have been to school in the area but normal houses that 20 years ago weren't worth much are now going for a million plus. As basically being Cornwall FC? Too much entrenched rivalry between the towns for many outside Truro to follow them and it’s a big rugby union hotbed. The original plan for new Truro stadium was to have been 10k capacity to allow Cornish Pirates to share to compete for promotion to top tier but it’s turned out less than 3K so they’re staying in Penzance.
