We have had several players since we got relegated from the premier league who would improve us and get in the current starting line-up. My Question is. Have we had a better midfield/forward six that started against Wigan on Saturday since we got relegated from the premier league

Yeah I said the same earlier in the thread, I'd play him in the 10 in this side and just let him run the show, as the wingers cut in he can switch outside, offer balls short or get past fullbacks. Some player.

We’ve tried Randall, McAtee, Sheehan and Morley as a 10 or variant of a 10 and they’re all gifted players but it hasn’t come off because they aren’t great at providing an alternative to the direct through ball such as driving into the box themselves or sticking in the top bins from 30 yards which has made them predictable. Chungy could pull it off with his direct running, but I also think we saw glimpses of what Demps could bring as a 10 when he’s back.

we haven't played Sheehan at 10.

nor should we.

Dempsey has to get past Forss for that spot if he can stay fit long enough.

I must be talking Chinese....I never asked if we had individuals better than the front six that played Saturday.........We must have a list of 20 who individually would walk into Saturdays team..........I want 5/6/7 In any given game
