We’ve got 7 games left, if you look at the form table for the last 5 games - Plymouth are going like a train and would be a worry, Stevenage have 1 more point than us, every other team (ignoring Lincoln) that are in the play off mix have less points than us.

Our form is a concern in terms of having a chance in the play offs, but linked to my other post, there aren’t enough clubs in form that it’s enough of a concern for us to drop out of them altogether!

I'm not checking other fixtures but I would guess we are the only team to have played 5 of their last 6 games against relegation strugglers, and must surely be the only team who's last 7 games are against play off challengers (and 2nd placed team).

You know we lost over £11 million a last year and £5 million the year before, it's all fun and games while youre spending other peoples money.

Our fixed costs are too high for a League 1 club.

1st half , we tried to play football on a ploughed field with wide players Apter & Kenny creating nothing......it didn't work.

2nd half we more or less gave up with the wingers & switched to a half baked kind of hoof ball.........it didn;t work. i thought PV were more likely to score than us.

FWIW, i didn't see any lack of effort, it was just a bit shambolic.

Plusses......both Forino & Dalby won most of their battles with Dalby getting little support from the ref !!

What's disappointing is we can't beat a team that's only scored 28 goals all season beforehand and conceded 49 SS knows how to get a team out of this division we can only hope he has a light bulb moment and his team selection and tactics get us into the play off final

We are playing poorly and a lot can be questioned, but I didn't think they weren't trying.  I'll leave Tutu out of this discussion because he can look like he's not arsed even when he is, and Apter in the same bracket, but there was battling from the defenders, the midfielders especially Dempsey, Kenny, definitely Dalby who took a physical battering and the subs.  The something that isn't right is their ability (eg can't cross, can't shoot, no pace, lacking strength), its nothing to do with attitude any more than for any team.  If only it was that simple.
