Politics - Part 2

Kemi Badenoch doesn’t really need to speak in public more than once a month and she’ll do ok. In that respect, keeping her head down is proving very effective.

Sniping from the sidelines and criticising everyone clearly has merit. 🙃

This is part 2 of the Politics discussion.

It is a shithole, but one that Farage decided he wanted to be MP for, so he must like it, and I think he's gone on record saying it's got wonderful people and is a wonderful place - and we all know he never tells fibs.

A bit like Burnham and Makerfield then?

I think we are arriving at Trafs 'they're all cunts' station at the same time.

We can't have anarchy though so it's opinions on the 'least worst'. It should never be red.

is it normal to have so many?

a lot of boxes to fit on one ballot paper there

No it is apparently the most ever...

It is thought to be the highest number of candidates to stand in a by-election in modern times, according to Tendring District Council.

The previous record is understood to have been 26 candidates, set at the Haltemprice and Howden by-election in July 2008, which was triggered by Tory Sir David Davis in his own seat and was ignored by the main Westminster parties.

I pity the polling staff, those in the polling stations where people have to fold the ballot paper to get it in the ballot box slit and those at the count who have to sort all the ballot papers into individual piles.

Going to be a long day/night for many of them I expect.

It probably won't bequite as difficult as it seems

Plenty on that ballot paper won't hit three figures

Some might fail to hit two
